Shepherd Hut Maker

I have spent my life in the heart of the South Downs in Hampshire, now a National Park and I have worked with trees in one form another since I left college. I worked as a tree surgeon and then went on to work for the Forestry Commission. I later learned carpentry by working alongside a superb craftsmen, restoring and conserving timber framed buildings. A friend asked me if I could build a shepherd hut for him and after some research, I fell in love with them. Their versatility, comfort and simple style make you feel like you have your own private hideaway from the world. I enjoy creating the perfect space for my client's needs which can be anything from an extra room for the children, to an office or a quiet retreat to escape to.
