Showpiece Kitchen & Bath

I have a kitchen that has not been updated since I moved into the house and it was very old as my house was built in 1950. I contracted to have my kitchen totally renovated with Showpiece Kitchen and Bath! The owner of the company is Mary Jo as she was actually referred to me from an interior designer in Buckhead. The project started out in July 2022 and lasted about 3 months. Initially Mary Jo met with me and provided a very detailed plan to update my kitchen including, drawings, recommended appliances, flooring, electrical requirements and plumbing, countertops, etc. Mary Jo project managed the entire project and did a excellent job! She has a team of contractors that have worked with her for many years and that made the renovation go so smoothly. Mary Jo is the ultimate professional, excellent at kitchen and bathroom renovations. She was here at the house to oversee the contractors and keep me updated on all areas of the renovation! I highly recommend Showpiece Kitchen and Bath for any Kitchen or bath room renovations!

That was a painful and long process renovating my kitchen at the time of the pandemic. However, thanks to the "Showpiece Kitchen & Bath" it went well and quite creative. I am pleased with the results and enjoying my new beautiful space. We did have problems, but acknowledging and fixing those was a key to success.

Mary Jo saved my project. I unfortunately used a less reputable cabinet designer/builder thinking it would save me some money. After doing a substandard job and leaving the cabinets partially finished I reached out to Mary Jo for help. Mary Jo is a true professional! She helped us every step of the way to design a beautiful kitchen addition. When looking for contractors for a small hall bath renovation, Mary Jo and I hit it off right away. It was a small project and we had a strict budget which MJ understood and stayed within that budget. Our bath is beautiful and we love it!

I recently engaged Showpiece Kitchen and Bath to give my kitchen a facelift and remodel my master bathroom. Mary Jo was a pleasure to work with. She really listens to your ideas and quickly picks up on your likes and dislikes. The project was completed on time and the various contractors who were all very professional were scheduled around my personal circumstances so as not to create too many inconveniences. I even have two dogs that Mary Jo and her team had to ensure were safe and out of the construction zone and Mary Jo went out of her way to ensure their safety. Mary Jo has great ideas. She provided me with great options such as countertops, kitchen sink, tile selections, fixtures, and flooring. She takes your feedback and doesn’t settle until she has found exactly what you are looking for. I’m so happy with the final product in both my rooms!!

The 2-Star is only due to the contractor that worked the job, without his efforts this would have been a zero star rating. The project was poorly managed post the proposal and receiving the first deposit check. Up until the first check there was a lot of dedication and attention. After the first check... not at all. A project that should have been 1 month project turn to 2.5months due to poor planning, very little communication, lack of attention to detail, inability to judge subpar vs great quality, and an overall lack of interest in making the project and my home a “showpiece”. She admittedly claimed it took longer than it should have yet, nearly zero effort (less than 1% “effort”) was given to make up for the poorly managed project. A $250 refund on a $27k+ project shows zero regard to the inconvenience and lost time, energy, and mental anguish caused by the continued delays and lack of accountability for the project. I would not recommend to anyone... unless maybe, if you are doing work on a flip and you don’t care about quality, timing, or added expenses. I was looking for top quality work for my personal home. I rarely give poor reviews as I usually do my homework and find quality suppliers, thus I find it imperative for me to share my experience with others. The pics of nice work on the profile are likely just great pics and do not reflect the headache of the jobs I’m sure. I’m sure based on experience.

I would love to work with Mary Jo again. She listened, offered suggestions, ensured I had a quality product and was very professional. I’m thrilled with my bathroom remodel.

We had a major water leak in our master bath. It required an extensive repair as well as renovation. Showpiece replaced the damaged materials and artistically installed all new natural stone tile throughout the bath. Provided a seamless shower entry with no threshold and a beautiful frameless glass surround. Removed the old garden tub and installed a lovely free standing tub. The installer remodeled an existing cabinet that gave it a finished look. The design was exactly what we wanted. The installer was conscientious, efficient, friendly, and always left the work area clean. We definitely would recommend their services.

We interviewed several firms for our kitchen reno but knew immediately we had found our team once we consulted with Mary Jo on the overall design, look and feel of our project. Our budget was not extraordinary but what was accomplished with it was! She really helped us hone in on our style and has a great eye for finishes and detail. Mary Jo managed our project well from start to finish - even when things didnt go as planned with suppliers. Frustrating? Yes - but Mary Jo’s professionalism and management made it more than bearable. We were presented with alternatives, ultimately stayed true to the plan and were thrilled with the results. We recommend her highly and are proud of the results she and her team helped achieve!

Mary Jo was responsive, professional, and timely. She did a great job of offering input and sticking to our timeline. Our kitchen facelift was a breeze and looks beautiful, thanks in large part to Mary Jo's efforts! We'd definitely work with her again!

Snappy Kitchens Atlanta transformed my 1991 master bath into a magnificent retreat. Gone are the jetted tub, pre-fab shower, low cabinets and sinks, and carpeted floors. Mary Jo Alton designed and personally oversaw the completion of this total redo. She paid close attention to detail and my desires for this room. She has a stable of professionals who came in and constructed and installed all of the new features, cabinets, tile and lighting. She was frequently here to inspect the work being performed and address any problems that arose. The result speaks for itself...an elegant, gorgeous, stylish master bath. I could not be happier.
