With work being done all over the lower mainland, she is known for her timeless approach and detail orientated manner. Through the use of space planning, materials and finishes, she is continually creating sustainable and creative spaces which reflects ones personal desires and lifestyle all the while integrating today’s latest trends with functionality. Located in the heart of Kitsilano, Sarah-Marie founded her company in 2010. She felt the world of design had become stagnant and habitual. Her vision was to create a company that forced people to step outside of their comfort zone and to celebrate their individuality by expanding their design horizons and introducing them to new concepts which they may not have otherwise considered.

Our family of four has been enjoying and very pleased with our renovated space, which includes the entire upper floor of a 27 year old Vancouver Special, including the curved stairs to the main floor entrance and closet. The look and feel of our space is high end, modern, and very functional. I never dreamed that my home would boast a gorgeous kitchen with an island measuring more than eight by four feet, with more storage and counter space than I thought possible; Sarah Marie is a design genius! We continue to admire and enjoy the combined aesthetics and function of each and every item selected from our furniture pieces to door handles to the right shade of bleached oak for the bathroom cabinets and the many paint colors. The level of customer service, professionalism and attention to detail was superb, also educated and adjusted our budget to the level of finish we desired . Thank you Sarah Marie Interior Designs, we love our renovated space and home!

Sarah has a wonderful eye for design and is so easy to work with - the two main factors we were looking for. She also has great positive energy which made the entire renovation fun and enjoyable. She listened to our needs, was patient when we needed time to think about decisions and was helpful in guiding us when we needed help on those decisions. Sarah understood when I wanted to be more involved and when I just wanted to leave it up for her. I highly recommend Sarah!

Sarah is an incredible designer! She has wonderful ideas and a great plan and schedule for the project. I found Sarah really easy to work with in terms of problem solving and very customer service oriented. Sarah is super creative and fun and gets along with everyone on the project. She is also super knowledgeable about construction which I found really a nice bonus when making decisions. She is detailed, timely and a good communicator also. I have absolutely loved working with her and would hire her again in a minute.

As crazy as it sounds, we decided to do a complete renovation of a 3,000 sq ft home all while tending to a newborn baby and both working full time! Sarah and her team made it a relaxing, wonderful experience. From the very first meeting with Sarah, I could tell I was dealing with a true professional. What I really appreciated was the detail she provided, verbally and written. At projects end there were no surprises and the time and cost estimates were bang on! I knew I was in very capable hands every step of way. Sarah listened and yet took charge at the same time- it was perfect. We love our home so much and have Sarah & team to thank for it! I would work with Sarah again in a heartbeat and I have already recommended her to many others!

I chose Sarah Marie because she has some serious spark. She walks into a space with enthusiasm and energy to get things done. And in Vancouver, that's not always easy. We've had tricky trades and a unique heritage space that needed a full gut - couldn't be happier with how hard she's worked to keep the project moving. She returns calls quick, gets on board with any dream and is all around a "yes" gal on any budget. And to top it all off, she's a pleasure to spend hours with while looking tediously through wallpaper and tile samples. Highly recommend this talented designer-hustler!

My husband and I engaged Sarah and her team to design and remodel our apartment after it had suffered water damage. The design work included the kitchen, two bathrooms, living/ dining area and wood flooring throughout. Sarah also sourced and procured furniture and layout. We found Sarah and her team to be very professional, accommodating and well organized. They provided quality work, service and value.
