JMS Architecture LLC comes from 16 years of custom residential design experience serving clients from Nantucket to the Outer Banks; from Main Line Philadelphia to Central Ohio. I have had the fortunate experience to work with an extraordinarily talented group of people through the years who have taught me the importance of quality design, building relationships with clients and builders, and having fun while doing it. JMS Architecture LLC is built on the philosophy that architecture is a collective art. Not one hand molds the clay; or applies the paint; or erects the shell. It’s about an exchange of ideas. My education at the University of Pennsylvania and experience at Lyman Perry Architects has reminded me that design begins with the land; the relationship between the interior and exterior. Jeff was easy and great to work with. We reviewed what we wanted and he interpreted it professionally and in a timely manner. He is knowledgeable about the building process on Nantucket which can prove to be difficult and cause delays. He was extremely fair and accurate on the budget and was able to bring out the best in our property. He always responded quickly to our questions and suggestions and was respectful and positive during every phase of the project. He worked seamlessly with the builder and landscaper to deliver us a spectacular home that is functional and that we will enjoy for many years. We would definitely use him again and highly recommend him!

Jeff was a pleasure to work with and a true professional. Of real importance to me was Jeff's ability to listen and interpret the clients' (me and my wife) interests while not imposing his solutions to design issues. In particular, Jeff developed a fantastic roof design for our den in the face of significant physical constraints and included an interior barn board finish to create the signature room in our house. I highly recommend JMS Architecture.

Jeff was highly recommended to us by a Landscape Architect whose work we admire and who is considered tops in Philadelphia. This recommendation was well deserved! Personable and easy to work with, Jeff asked many questions about what we wanted, how we live etc. and really listened to our answers. He immediately grasped what we wanted and then worked with us to achieve a result that exceeded our dream. He is an excellent architect, no question. Of equal importance, Jeff is thoughtful and engaging and encouraged us to consider a number of suggestions that took our ideas and transformed them into a beautiful addition that generously meets our needs and thrills us every time we walk in! His taste is impeccable and I should also mention that Jeff totally understands and respects a budget. Jeff is a breathe of fresh air when it comes to professional architects in the Philadelphia area! He brings out of the box ideas for new construction and home renovations and really impresses everyone involved. Jeff Spoelker is AMAZING! He created two incredibly beautiful houses for us (one a main house and the other a guest house) on the water in Nantucket. We get so many compliments! It took more than a year to complete the roughly 5200 square foot project. Jeff expertly navigated the local housing ordinances, and worked well with the construction manager and all the construction workers. There was a real mutual respect by him for their work and by them of his vision and attention to detail. In sum, Jeff gave us the house(s) of our dreams. We are deeply grateful.

It was a pleasure to work with Jeff during the construction of our new home on Nantucket. From meetings with the HDC to final completion, Jeff was efficient, timely, and very professional in all aspects of his work. Jeff listens to input very well and is particularly astute at taking raw concepts to a detailed design, especially as it relates to interior layouts. We could not have been more pleased with the end product and the relationship we enjoyed with Jeff during the entire process. We highly recommend him to anyone looking to build or renovate.

We have used JMS Architecture for two projects in the last few years. The first was a complete renovation of our living room and dining room and the most recent was a renovation of the master bathroom, study and the creation of an outdoor room off the deck. We were completely thrilled with the results on both projects and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for a third. Jeff brings to the table both his architecture expertise along with a great sense of design. His ideas and creations are innovative, new and beyond "cool". In addition he is personable and enthusiastic which makes working with JMS Architecture a pleasure. I say go for it!

Jeff Spoelker was excellent through the whole process. My wife and I loved the work that he had done when he was with Lyman Perry Assoc. We wanted the Nantucket look even though we were only building on an 18 acre lake. One of his strengths beyond design was bringing ideas to us on types of light fixtures, flooring choices, and even landscape options that would work. For example, as we moved through the planning process, Jeff recommended that we put in a fire pit down by the lake. We would have never thought of it. We have had so much fun using it with friends, family and neighbors. The bottom line for us was we really didn't know what we wanted when we started thinking about building our "dream home". Hiring a good architect is a must. Jeff is one of them!

A commenté : shower size and vanity sizeThis project was from a few years ago. As I recall, the shower is roughly 4x5. And the vanity is roughly 7’ double bowl with a drawer base in the middle. I hope this helps.

A commenté : Is this size bump out large enough for a small table and exit door?The interior dimension is only about 3' x 12'. A small table may fit but depending not the size and location of the door, it may be a bit tight. I hope this helps.
