Studio Maven is a full-service architecture firm, located in San Francisco, doing projects all throughout the Bay Area. We handle residential and commercial projects and can provide drawings for pricing, permit, and construction. Our practice is suited to the 21st century client. We can collaborate both in person and online and can produce work in a virtually paperless office. As with many of our projects, we work toward best practices in resource conservation and efficiency. We believe in working with our clients on a “human level”, accounting for the emotional aspects of a renovation just as much as the technical details. We pride ourselves on customizing an experience that transcends the expectations of our clients, standing with them every step of the process. Our goal is to transform spaces into environments that serve the needs of the inhabitants as much as they please the eye. We believe in taking the time and care to construct custom designs that will delight our clients for years to come.

We reached out to Studio Maven based on their design style, positive reviews, and description of services. Our project was to finish a wet half basement by adding a bathroom, bedroom and family room, adding stairs down to basement from inside the house, reconfigure the outside exit, re-do the upstairs bathroom and remove a kitchen wall to add an island. Audrey met with us in person and had sold us on the first visit with her initial sketches, professionalism and positive vibe about the whole master plan. The overall timeline and prices ended up as estimated. Audrey handled all of the plan submitting seamlessly as well as had good recommendations for structural engineer and as-built drawings. She helped up navigate the infinite choices of finishes and had perfect recommendations for us that fit our vision. We have already recommended Studio Maven to friends/family looking for architectural services.

As a real estate professional, I often come across clients who would get a higher return when selling their property by making a few strategic updates. Last July, I was looking for the right design team to help a client remodel their condominium on a defined budget and a timeline. Audrey and Shannon at Studio Maven provided the design insights, project drawings, change recommendations I needed to help map out the style direction and budget for the client, and to coordinate the players and materials delivery to pull it off. I was very impressed by Audrey and Shannon's design skills and industry knowledge, their hands on engagement in the project, their communication and feedback, and amazed at the end result. We found Studio Maven and Audrey on Houzz while interviewing architects for our bathroom addition and kitchen remodel. Audrey visited our home and shared some of her ideas and vision for our project, we really liked her approach, ideas and easy working style. After meeting her our decision to select an architect was made simpler. Throughout our project she sent us timely updates and tips on optimizing the design to suit our needs and information on how to go about selecting materials. She made frequent tips out to the site to co-ordinate with our contractor and ensured that our project was completed ahead of schedule. She was efficient, responsive and kept our style and preferences at the center of the design. We would definitely recommend Audrey and Studio Maven for any home remodel or improvement project.

Audrey gave me an estimate and ideas for a kitchen and bathroom remodel in my townhouse. She was extremely helpful, and had a great eye for details; she suggested some changes that would really improve the look of the place and save money from what I was originally planning. I feel she is very practical and was able to suggest all kinds of options, as well as tell me when my own ideas were doable, but impractical of the budget I had in mind. I would not hesitate to recommend her in the future.

Audrey, Aurora, and the Studio Maven team are absolutely fantastic. They helped me every step of the way through remodeling my bathroom and redecorating my house. From drafting plans and helping me find a number of potential contractors to picking finishes and helping pick a smart, coherent look for the furnishings. My bathroom went from feeling cramped and dark to open and beautiful. I get many complements on everything! I plan to work with them again as I remodel my kitchen and highly recommend them.

We hired Audrey at Studio Maven to help us with the kitchen renovation in our San Francisco Condo built in 1918. The project involved removal of a load bearing wall, which dramatically improved the flow of our living, dining, and kitchen areas. With Audrey's guidance we reclaimed unused space improving overall efficiency and aesthetics. Working with Audrey helped make our kitchen and living space dreams a reality by making the process accessible from both cost and design perspectives.
