Over 25 years ago, Tim designed our bedroom (sleigh bed, end tables, bench) and bathroom (panelling, dressing table and chair, double-vanity sink, shower, bath tub, cabinetry) all in mahogany and Carrara marble. This classic design suited our townhouse in Cheyne Walk. Tim’s beautiful craftsmanship and attention to detail has stood the test of time. I would highly recommend Tim. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the end result.

Tim is a master of his craft and is a pleasure to work alongside. His professional knowledge and experience was very reassuring, and it meant that he was able to apply his design and installation expertise to develop and complete my initial ideas for two ranges of built in cabinetry which I commissioned for my client’s house renovation. His approach is extremely thorough and time generous, which resulted in a beautiful set of built in bespoke wardrobes and a wrap-around set of drawing room fitted cabinets. Over a period of many years and visits to many retail outlets, ebay, amazon etc I thought my dream was dead, a need for something unique; a bespoke cabinet combining storage, display, hifi and spirits. Tim Wood designed an excellent Kitchen for us ten years ago - he listened carefully to our ideas and in consultation with us, came up with drawings/plans for the kitchen we wanted. Tim gave us a good, personal service and plenty of advice as to which fixtures and fittings would best suit our needs. The kitchen installation process ran smoothly and to time and we were delighted with the final result. Tim has also been helpful over the last few years sourcing one or two kitchen parts, which due to wear and tear have needed replacing. I would not hesitate to recommend Tim Wood as a kitchen designer.

Tim Wood goes to enormous trouble to ensure that clients get the kitchen they want. If, for example, husband and wife disagree about the design, Tim is a great diplomat and he finds a solution. He sticks to the quote, however many meetings it takes, and his after sales service is impeccable. If a problem arises, he doesn't quibble and he fixes it quickly at no extra cost. A Tim Wood kitchen isn't cheap but the price is fair and you get what you pay for. Tim Wood learnt at the feet of the master, John Makepeace, and the quality of his work reflects this. He has a wealth of experience and he seems to be able to find space where there is none, and then uses it creatively. Highly recommended.

Tim is a highly experienced professional and a consummate perfectionist. He understood our requirements very well, came out for a visit and site survey, then presented us with detailed designs. We went through several iterations of the designs, in which Tim worked very patiently with us to accommodate our requests until we were 100% happy with the designs. The products were all delivered on time, without any delays or missing items, and Tim and crew were on site before the consignment arrived. They supervised the unloading of the container and started immediately with the installation, all of which was finished on time and to our complete satisfaction. Two minor parts that were damaged during the customs inspection were replaced immediately without a hitch. Tim Wood Ltd. organised the packaging and loading of a full 40-foot container for shipment by sea, including very fragile granite tops. Many years on, we are still enjoying our lovely kitchen and closets, and the beautiful design and workmanship are admired by all our friends and visitors. Tim Wood designed a fabulous kitchen and staff utility room for a very important Grade I* Victorian listed house that I was refurbishing. The design was imaginative, functional and married a contemporary kitchen perfectly with the traditional style of the house in a way that I think only Tim Wood could have achieved. Tim was wonderful to work with, I highly recommend Tim Wood.

Tim Wood was involved in a number of projects with me during my time at David Hicks International. In the early 1990s we designed a kitchen together for the Chairman of David Hicks: this particular painted kitchen was in a classical, grand 'country house' style, that has a dateless and timeless appeal. Tim has worked on a number of projects with me since then where I have called him in at an early stage. I have always enjoyed working with him.

I am delighted with the kitchen and the utility room created by Tim for my new build property. The painted units are exactly as I envisaged, with attention to detail at every step. He took great care to ensure what I wanted would match with what was needed and the aesthetics. I wasn't sure whether to have granite on the island as well as the worktops, so Tim pointed out that the wood top would fit in with the oak kitchen and patio doors. When I wanted a shelf above the Aga to take my cookery books, Tim was happy to accommodate the more complicated design, then happy to change the height to suit me. At every step he said 'you are the client, you have what suits you'. The actual fitting process was efficiently carried out and all the electrical goods have been wonderful. The men particularly favour the siting of the wine cooler beside the fridge!

Design, build and instillation of bespoke modern wooden kitchen, for a new build house. The design was discussed at length and I was fully involved in the process, including choosing the beautiful oak veneer, handles, work top etc. Now installed the kitchen feels comfortable and easy to work in, fits like a glove! The build quality is superb. Delivery was on time and instillation was professional, clean and efficient, undertaken by extremely skilled craftsman.

Tim Wood Ltd provided an outstanding and personalised joinery service on a luxury property we were managing. The design, quality of the finish and installation was of an incredibly high standard which was an absolute must for such a high calibre client that I was working for.
