True Cost Remodeling

We hired True Cost Remodeling to install a new roof, windows and siding at a house in October of 2020. We paid a sizable down payment. We have been told since 12/7/20 that our windows will be in soon and the install will start within a few days. Rod has texted or called me 12 times telling me work will begin between January and April. On April 27th he said that work will begin on the 30th..no one showed up and when I texted him he acted surprised. THEN on May 20th I said we need a refund, and he said he requested a refund 2 months ago from the window company. How can that be true when he told me 3 weeks prior that work was set to start in a few days. From May 20th through today I have been trying to set up a meet up time to get our refund check. He keeps pushing back and not answering calls/texts. He won't give me the window manufacture number and after several requests has yet to show me a invoice of purchase order for the windows/siding. I do not believe he ordered them and he has spent our money.
