We carry the most complete display from the world’s best appliance manufacturers and we are uniquely positioned to be the best source for all your appliance needs. Located in Santa Clara, CA, our 26,000 square foot on site warehouse with its large inventory allows for quick and easy pick up of merchandise or should you prefer, our ample fleet of trucks is available for delivery throughout the San Francisco and Monterey Bay areas. As an independent Interior Designer I've had the pleasure of working on a number of projects with University Electric. Collaborating with local showrooms is a critical portion of making selections with my clients and I know my clients are in good hands with University. I've personally worked with Gregg Yeager and he always makes my clients feel relaxed and welcome at the showroom. They are rooted in product education and have created an environment that allows clients to learn about different brands and features without feeling pressured into a sale that may not be right for them. looking for an oven replacement that is over 50 years old cabinet cut out too small, university electric matched me up with a special vendor that provided me with the proper sized cutout demensions for the old cabinet, they are very helpful and willing to out of their way to please the customer, I would recommend them to anyone for sure. Over the past 23 years we have been in business Jim and Mike Heintz and the University team have been a great and dependable resource for our RemodelWest clients. I am sorry that you are having problems with appliances purchased here. We do our best to filter out product that can be troublesome. Before we take on a line we need to know that we have backing from who we purchase from either distributor or direct. Have you consulted your salesperson about the issues you are having? If not please do so and if you have and not gotten the results you expected call me, Mike.

I called on University Electric, as a distributor representative, for almost 12 years. In my 40+ years in the appliance industry, I have never found a business so easy to work with. Their professional attitude, and knowledge of product, is at the highest level, and they maintain that level of excellence, through constant training. Experience, professionalism, knowledge, customer service. They are the best. Being familiar with over 40 different manufacturers products, is a difficult job, but University Electric makes it look easy. I would highly recommend them whether you are replacing one appliance, remodeling, or building from the ground up, for all your major appliance needs.

I've used University for multiple projects and have been thrilled with the sales and service every time. From a full suite of highest end appliances to the lowest end of clearance priced appliances for a rental, these folks are great.
