Gillian is a wonderful decorator. She has great ideas. I had a seat cushion made for my window seat. She helped me decide on fabric and cushions too. Just a great experience over all.

Wendel Works made a bench cushion for me. The fabric pattern was lined up perfectly from the top of the cushion and down the sides. Great attention to details. I will call again for other projects and highly recommend.

Gillian was awesome to work with, had lots of great ideas ordered as many samples as I needed to make a decision. She will work with your budget and will give you options to stay in budget. Gillian promised a finish date and was right on time. She arrived the day of the install and stayed with the installers until my window treatments were perfect. I had the privilege of having Gillian design and make my window coverings in my living room and dining room. We initially met to discuss my desires. She then returned with 3 different project ideas for each room. First the dining room is 2 story with a huge window that has a half circle transom. Gillian personally designed a wrought iron piece to fill the space in the transom and the curtains accented my window without obstructing the view of our lake. The living room added just the right amount of color hung on specially made wrought iron curtain rods. Gillian is a perfectionist in her sewing and installation. She ensures everything is to her quality and standards and the clients desires. Gillian is timely and friendly to work with. Gillian's creativity and workmanship are what make her stand out in her field.

My experience with The Wendel Works was exceptional. Gillian Wendel helped me fix some drapery panels that just didn't have the luxurious look I wanted. She listened, didn't try to sell me something I didn't want or need. Gillian located additional fabric, remade the drapes and transformed the room. After that experience I had several custom pillows made that are truly works of art. I recommend The Wendel Works without hesitation.

When I asked my husband how he would rate his "man cave" window treatments, his comments were they were 5 stars and "manly". Gillian had captured his passion for sports, but then he said his favorite room she did was the kitchen café curtains. I agreed and so do others that see them. That girl has an eye for detail; by adding a covered button (I love buttons) to my curtains in just the right area it gives that look of quality and elegance to the curtain. Every room she has done has its own personality. Gillian will help you pick out the fabric and design. I was clueless as to what I really wanted, but she looked at my furniture and the type of person I was; how many grandchildren....bottom line she got to know me. She is worth every penny she charges because in the end it is just beautiful, more than you could want and just makes the room!
