“We are realtors and have used the services of Liberty Painting on numerous occasions. Our experience has always been great. They are reliable, honest and trustworthy and are true to their word. The biggest job they did for us was a total rehab of a single family home. They painted the exterior to include resurfacing the pool deck. They then tackled the inside and painted the interior to include the walls, trim, ceilings, closet doors, entry doors and columns near front door. They painted and sealed the garage floor; everything was done beautifully. The best job was the resurfaced the kitchen and bathroom cabinets to include new and stylish hardware. This home had been a rental for over 10 years and needed a lot of work to get it on the market to sell. Liberty Painting did all the work and made the whole place sparkle like new.

“Kathleen is an exceptional decorative artist. Always the professional, Kathleen was enthusiastic & helpful with ideas, far exceeding my own ideas & expectations. She restored & painted several smaller pieces for my living room, one a table that belonged to my grandmother. What I considered the "big project," a dining room table & chairs that my husband & I bought almost 50 years ago & had been through our 3 children without any dings ,to each of them at different times when they were grown, many, many dings, scratches, gouges,etc,. before coming home to us. Kept in storage until I decided what to do. Kathy refinished/painted the table & chairs & reupholstered them. What a dream this set is! I was beyond words when I saw it. I gave Kathy an old, faded photograph, about 3"x3" of my grandmother & asked her to paint a portrait of her for a Christmas gift for my mother. When she finished it, I cried, it looked just like my grandmother. Really, Kathy is so very talented, I just cannot say enough. Please don't hesitate to use her services.”

“This husband and wife team turned the walls of our newly acquired condo into a masterpiece. The venetian plaster finish glows with the eye-catching finish. Each guest wants to know how it was done and who did it much like a painting in an art museum.
Another important aspect is the ability to visualize the final result before the project starts helping to choose the correct finish appropriate for the surface, considering the room lighting, size of the wall and other wall finishes.
No need to worry about clean-up. At the end of each day's work tools are carefully put away and the floors are made spotless.
Do not let the price scare you. The amount of work involved required many days back-breaking work.”

“I located Dennis Wiederhold through the internet. I was in need of a new gate for my pool wall. Dennis spend considerable time via e-mails showing his products and describing his craftsmanship. We decided upon a style and he was prompt in building and delivering the finished product.
I am extremely happy with the gate. We had a bad storm that caused the gate to become unaligned. I called Dennis and he instructed us on what to do to make adjustments. We tried to no avail to fix the problem. I called him back and he immediately placed us in his cue and stopped by to resolved the problem even though we were not home.
Dennis is a consumate craftsman and an excellent business man. I would highly recommend him and his work to anyone.

The gallery portion handles the work of post-WWII artists who established a notable artists colony in Sarasota. They also handle antique art prints. In recent years, they have amassed the largest collection of vintage photographs of Sarasota and the surrounding west coast. This is a not-to-be missed destination for those interested in Sarasota's history.
