Flights of Fancy

“Sumner and I have known one another since our early teens and I would not hesitate to recommend her for one moment. Her attention to detail, mastery of color, strategic vision, love of fabrics and strong organizational skills all make her perfectly suited to interior decoration.” — Lynn Tate Teel, Fort Worth, Texas (US)

Sumner dreamed up a total image for our Bazaar: a theme, tagline and outstanding décor. Not only did she create a coherent overall vision, but she also executed it with elegance and élan. The ‘dazzle’ she imagined became the watchword for the entire event. We can’t wait to work with her again. — Deborah Lillian, Past President AAWE Paris (France)

Sumner Hargrove made my YA daughter’s design wishes come true! She listened closely to her design goals, asked key questions to intuitively determine the best design solutions to suit Grace’s style and lifestyle, presented a lovely vision board and varied design solutions, took precise dimensions, and provided links to easily order everything - all within budget! One of many qualities I appreciate about Sumner is her ability to absorb what is important to the client, and create spaces that beautifully integrate design and function. Sumner has a natural talent to create an environment that feels happy, comfortable, and uplifting. I’m definitely calling Sumner for my next interior design project!

Sumner sees the possibilities in a space. She took time to understand our life, our preferences, what I wanted our home to look and feel like—for my family and our guests. She put her creativity, knowledge and insights to work, used our furnishings, made suggestions for additions that I would never have thought of and that make all the difference in the world. Thanks to what Sumner did, our home is a better expression of me and my family.
