Splashback - I need help PLEASE!!!
Hi, I need to choose between white glass splashback or mirror splashback.
My kitchen will be a modern white Polyurethane with no handles... So if i go with the mirror splashback I will also make the recess on the drawers and cupboards mirror too - Sounds so sexy....But being an all white kitchen, I had my heart set on a white glass splashback! Kitchen man thinks the mirror look will look a lot more stunning than the white glass look.
I'm so confused....Please help! Look at some examples of these photos - 1 with glass splashbak and 1 with mirror splashback:

Commentaires (0)I have a very well built set of furniture my Father made - so for the emotional reasons I will not give it up. Then comes the BUT - it is pale and made out of solid birch with absolutely beautiful flaming, swirling type of wood - and I love dark almost black, black and some grey for my furniture. I like silver over gold, latter of which I will not accept. It is crime to paint wood - generally speaking especially when it is beautiful - and so I will not do. The set of furniture includes a bit over 3 m long very near ceiling height book selves with center area designed for the TV and a stereo.. electronics. It has its own lights. There is section with led-glass and other with wood doors - some open shelves. Down there is a bit larger base with drawers. Then there exists an additional extension which can also be set else where in a room. There is 1 sqm large a coffee table high enough to work as a laptop table with structural design and a hidden base compartment for a home safe (how ever not good for permanent work table - no way). I designed the table top for it and made it when I was a teen. The design includes glass cover. In addition I have a nicely sized, bit larger than usually lamp table with 3 drawers. I designed the legs for that - so they are not common type while still simple. They are more narrow at the ends than at the top. They have silver handles and traditional framed centers for the doors. The pale birch of the doors in this particular object found online is exactly what my birch is like - tone included... I like the black legs on that. I do like Art Deco - but something about this object just does not work. I need more options and ideas. This might be just the first and most important piece of furniture to get because... I prefer much more things like these.. Please help me to find that small, but not too small a piece that can unite well enough dark and the existing pale birch. Thank you.... Commentaires (4)Good evening Caroline, I took a look at your site. Your paintings remind me alot of a old friend of mine who knew Jackson Pollack a long time ago... Amaranth Ehrehnalt One thing I couldn't find is the size of some of your paintings, small or large. I clicked on small format, we see the painting and details of the painting, but few with the size. Same with the furniture...would help some future clients to know the size. Good luck, an artists life is hard, especially promoting one's work...hopefully there are more people who care for actual art than just wall paper... Thanks for sharing your site, Lynn... il y a 8 ansi would suggest the mirror, as per many previous comments it will reflect the space well, or black glass, which goes great with a white kitchen.

il y a 8 ansYes, I have already done my homework on that 'swampykerr' The proper one to use is called 'Starphire' glass, I will not be getting the one with the green tinge whcih is called 'float'. Been doing my homework on this for the past few months ;)

il y a 6 ansWe had a white kitchen (I know it's not white in the photo- that's another polytec story that ended up in a warranty claim replacement kitchen- hence the change in colour now) and I decided to go with mirror tiles though grout always an issue however so unnoticeable with the mirrored tiles easy to clean too. Each tile is a different mirror effect so doesn't show any grease spots at all. I love my choice- a little pricier but worth it I say!
