WANT RUSTIC LIVING ROOM HELP!

Just bought our first house and need help personalizing. My boyfriend and I love hunting and the outdoors, but don't want to go 'over-kill' on the decor. I'd like create a feel of simple and rustic using some natural decor along with a hint of animal print (possibly zebra print or faux hide-rug) and maybe black on the accent wall.
p.s. not a fan of maroon and the furniture in the picture is not ours... room is nearly empty at this point!

Perhaps I went too modern in style with this moodboard, I don't know what kind of furniture you have, but I do like little hints like the tree art, the antler hook (can see it in the kitchen or bathroom). Faux fur throw on the sofa and you have a modern, yet rustic style room.
