il y a 8 ansDernière modification :il y a 8 ansYour chairs will be really lovely redone and I would look at a grey/mid bluish vs going too dark - don't worry about coordinating with the piping, but the rug which is more prominent (and consider a small pattern for interest). Bring home lots of samples and test them with your rug. Have you ever tried your couch on the back wall and as you enter it will be much more captivating. Place the two chairs as per the picture below and leave the window area free. You could place your table next to the couch (even paint it black) and add brass lamp to compliment your art's frame (and move floor lamp perhaps to a corner as you walk in and place your plant there as well). A round glass/brass coffee table to mimic your couch's shape would be really pretty. A soft and elegant room. Down the road, you could add some cream linen drapery and a console table on the wall on the right with a beautiful mirror above.

Colours - which & where!?
Commentaires (0)This is the wall of my living room leading up to the stairs. We would like to paint a wall - hubby thinks wall with painting and chimney which protrudes from the wall. I'm inclined to think the back wall on either side of the chimney (more work). What do you think - we do have high ceilings... Now the second problem is the staircase...we will varnish the stairs the same colour as the parquet BUT...the banisters and upright were painted white at some point partially sanded and now look strange. I want to paint them because there is a lot of crevices and I think it will be too much work to sand it all down. We are leaning towards a darker colour - in the picture it looks black but in fact it's a a dark shade of blue. I was also thinking of F&Bs "Black Blue". Commentaires (0)Bonjour à tous, Nous avons cet imposant meuble depuis 40 ans. Il est en orme teinté chêne. Mon mari refuse de s'en séparer mais accepterait à la rigueur de le peindre en gris clair. Avant de nous lancer dans ce travail et de peur de le regretter je voudrais votre avis. Est-ce une bonne idée ou sinon comment apporter une touche plus moderne dans la déco? Commentaires (18)Essayez de glisser une couleur plus vive dans votre déco. Peut-être un rouge orangé comme celui des tableaux. Commencez par les housses de coussins et pourquoi pas les rideaux, en restant avec du voilage blanc. Changez aussi les tringles pour des plus actuelles, plus fines. Pour les petits meubles, le choix est plus difficile à définir. Ils font un bel ensemble avec le canapé, mais ensemble trop contemporain pour le meuble living. Pour faire simple, si vous voulez garder le meuble living, il faudra peut-être changer tout le reste ... Cela reste mon avis personnel. Je vous conseille de regarder le site https://douxmignon.fr/ . I would find blue/navy fabric for the chairs. I prefer reupholstering to slipcovers but either one will look great.

il y a 8 ansYou're chairs look to be in much better quality than ones you could purchase for less than costs to recover. I would try adding some fun geometric prints...like I did in a similar room!

il y a 8 ansDernière modification :il y a 8 ansDefinitely medium blue chairs in a velour material and take pillows from the couch and put on chairs and buy pillows that match new chairs to place on couch to tie all in. Also, change the end table to an off white color or paint it. Small round ottoman in middle of room with a metallic tv tray that sits on top. A huge mirror that sits on the floor and leans on the wall would be gorgeous. Like the picture below.
