We have been very happy with our Scan stove - fantastically effective convection warms our 30-long sitting room.

Burley and nordpies stoves have a contemporary look with clean lines and large glass to let the fires take center stage.

We had a Westfire Uniq 23 installed 2 years ago and have been very pleased with it.

The Fuga from Harrie Leenders is kind of a modern design classic. His other designs are contemporary looking too. https://www.feature-fire.co.uk/product/harrie-leenders-fuga-wood-stove/

We have Burley Hollywell. Has industrial feel. Not so contemporary though that it will date.

You could look at Morso, a great Swedish brand, also available with a back boiler for free hot water.

Hi, i use a lot of Morso wood burners in my clients projects as such good modern design. I have a Chesneys wood burner which I personally love as very simple lines with a modern handle. Attached a pic obviously looks lots more inviting when lit!

Love Morso stoves as we used to have their Suirrel model in our previous house.

Have a look at www.charltonandjenrick.co.uk for their contemporary fires. We have literally just ordered one for our sitting room to replace an inset gas fire.

Vesta Stoves V4 for me, we had one put in our lounge and are going for a double fronted one in our kitchen that will also heat a snug. I like the curves and simplicity, plus you can specify in different colours.
