Hi Angela, we specialise in manufacturing bespoke glass splashbacks, digitally printed with just about any design you can think of.

It looks like you have a great space of around 100cm x 120cm in the middle of your wall above your sink to fit a rectangular splashback in to, or, are you looking to cover the whole wall with glass?

Some kind of marble effect to match the floor tiles would look really nice and also provide a light and highly reflective surface. If you like this idea you could send us a photo of your floor tiles and we would be happy to create an image to illustrate how that same finish would look on your kitchen wall as a splashback for a. the area above your sink or b. for the entire wall. If you have any other kind of design in mind we could do the same with your preferred image instead.

Why not check out our partner's image library at www.depositphotos.com where you can search over 50 million images? Depending on the actual dimensions you need (circa 100cmx120cm) I would estimate that we could supply your splashback for around £180. If you are looking to cover the entire kitchen wall we would also be happy to quote for that too.

    I hope this helps,

    Richard.

Lovely kitchen - very nice design and beautifully finished!

Wrt splashbacks - glass is probably the first choice, with near infinite posibilities wrt colour, print or even a hint of sparkle. Decoglaze have some fantastic options in their Decokiln range if you want to add some interesting textures. If cost is an option, you could consider acrylics, as you do not need to worry about heat.

As a last thought, would you consider a feature geometric tile, such as these from Ted Baker?

If used sparingly as an accent, they could work really well with your design and colour scheme.

Let us know what you decide eventually!

    Hi Angela,

I think if you wanted to go for one I would go for a plain glass in clear or a grey which compliments the contemporary design whilst not taking away from other elements of the kitchen.
It will also contact with the glass in the doors between that and your living room - and hopefully, your finished contemporary living room! :)

Your kitchen is beautiful, nice and contemporary. I wouldn't bother with a splashback and just use upstands, however, if you are wanting a splashback I'd go for a light pearly grey colour to tie in with the floor tiles, yet play with the contemporary look.

Can I ask where the clock is from? Looks great

Hi. I agree it looks nice as it is. I've lost the ability to save photos but I'd add shelves between the wall units and accessorise, you have a similar pic in your ideabook. If you wanted to add something I'd go for a matching upstand or the copper one in this link (which hopefully works) could look nice

Hi Angela, just another thought, why not consider a subtle pattern that incorporates some or all of the colours in your striking glass clock?

Personally I would have a small upstanding in the worktop material. If you feel you need more behind the sink I would have a taller up stand there. Behind the sink I would only go halfway up to the units.
