Wall cabinet in WC and some floating live edge shelves on order...

Also, adding a frameless enclosure for shower...

What waterproofing system did you use in the wet areas?

There will be glass in the shower, so not a wet room. The shower was waterproofed with fiberglass epoxy and then a mud base. Areas above and tub were cement board with hydroban.

Very cool! Feels very organic. Not big on the under vanity LED though, cheapens the look IMO.

Thanks for the feedback. Wallpaper will be toned down a bit by walnut cabinet yet to be installed, but I understand it may not be every ones taste. LED lights are remote controlled including the color, so can turn off or juts do white, etc... Wife wanted some "mood" while she bathes. Combination of the glittering "crystal" and a little color glow seemed just the ticket.

Lots to be proud of. Congrats. Is that a teak mat? I've wondered how they feel, underfoot.

Thanks. Yes, a teak mat. This one feels very comfy as it does have rounded edges and the spacing is narrow. We were/are concerned over the cof for the polished floor, so the mat has rubber on the bottom and will allow drying off a bit before the harrowing step onto the tile... :)

Looks amazing! It looks entirely different from the old bathroom.

The ceiling looks very great with the wall, I love the contrast between two different elements. Gorgeous!

The wallpaper DOES give a person something to look at in there....and shows a sense of humor, I think. Like the others, I admire the warm ceiling and the beautiful tile work. It is a restful color and the wood is so nice with it. You could get away with no glass in the shower, is the water splashing out much? Do you have plans for artwork, plants, or more decor?

Unfortunately, water splash is too much. yes, we have some live edge shelves coming which will have plants, pottery, etc. maybe a pot of flowers on the counter plus some art. we didn't think the wallpaper was funny :) we are on austin, so succulents are popular. we haven't quite moved back into the downstairs master yet. waiting on my putting up closet bars and the shower glass.

thanks for everyone's positive feedback. we love the results, but nice to know others appreciate the work. our contractor was glad that I had planned everything. my wife was worried that we didn't use a designer. my argument, I was the designer.

I did not mean that the wallpaper was funny, I think it is light-hearted.

no worries. We spent many hours looking at wallpaper. we wanted something fresh, organic and fit the modern spa theme. we're happy.

Wallpaper has a bit of a william morris feel, i think. Nice. Personally, I'm just not a fan of enclosed toilets - feel like I've been punished and 'sent to my room' -but at least that's a verdant room! Who is the toilet by?

We are just finishing up a bath re-do here for which I was basically the designer and a few 'shoulda couldas' are coming home to roost. So it goes. We learn by doing, I guess....not that I ever wanna do this again!

American Standard Boulevard with a BioBidet seat. Frankly, the toilet is overpriced and I could have bought a much cheaper model, but it was originally going to be in the main area and I wanted something "modern". I have always had houses without a separate WC and was quite happy. I actually did not want the "room", but my wife insisted. We "stole" space from the closet which she is now finding problematic. Oh well. I actually enjoyed the project and am chomping to start something new, but the bank account says NO WAY.

Lovey. I love the way the wood warms up the space. I like the wallpape. Where is your live edge shelving going?
