Master bedroom decor
Hello, I could not find my post from a couple of weeks. i am trying to decorate my master bedroom. i do not want to paint the dresser or the night stands. they are cherry color. the headboard however is darker. should I paint it in a creamy white color? or leave it as is. The quilt has a bit of yellow, gray and green. the dresser is in front of the bed . There is another window not in the photo but its in the same wall as the window.. the walls are SW aged white just painted. I re
ally appreciate your ideas on how to decorate the bedroom..

I think its the light whst makes the nightstands look darker than the dresser. the headboard is the one darker than dresser and nightstands. the walls are SW age white. they are creamy with a light tint of yellow.

Commentaires (2)I see your point, It does look ugly :) Since its a rental apartment, do you have the authorization to remove it ? Because unfortunately, you can't put down vinyle over lino, it will not work (and its not because of the uneven floor). You can remove the lino and put another one, less ugly. It can be nice actually :) http://designmag.fr/design-dinterieur/lino-sol.html You are speaking about sticker, its quite cheap, why not trying and see if it fits with an uneven floor ? Although Im not sure that it will look pretty. Last solution, you can paint the lino, it will not last forever but it could be nice. Ask for expert advice to by the appropriate painting pots.... Commentaires (52)Eva, Pour moi ça n'est pas si évident que cela. On ne peut rien définir par petit morceau, en décoration, et encore moins si l'on n'est pas sur place, pas même ce type de store. En effet, si l'on place une déco, tout communique ensemble et ce qu'on pose alors devant la fenêtre devient plus important qu'il n'y paraît, à savoir aussi quel style sera vraiment adopté, quelle diffusion de lumière procure le rideau choisi, ici des "panneaux" dans votre proposition, etc, etc. C'est pourquoi je fais de moins en moins de propositions en forum, car il arrive toujours un moment où l'on s'aperçoit que ce qu'on dit est très limité. Commentaires (5)Bonjour, Non, je conserverai la chambre 3 en "bureau-atelier" en gardant un accès salle d eau (besoin d'eau pour la peinture) et je transformerai le garage en master bedroom….mais je ne sais pas si c'est judicieux…..l'ensemble restant le côté "privé" de la maison puisque nous avons 2 autres chambres avec salle d'eau pour les invités.. le mur entre le garage et les 2 autres pièces n'est pas porteur. If you want you can try, but it is not expensive to buy just a stand-alone headboard . I think an upholstered headboard would be nicest however. Again, they don't have to break the bank to look nice.
I wonder if these pillows would be fun to replace some of the ones you have. You've got a lot of pattern going on in there, so I'm thinking it's best to just keep on rolling with it!
