I know the scale is probably too big but I like the design of this pond and the vase fountains in the middle of it.

Maybe a large umbrella like this over the large conversation area could work? I really do not want the couches to get too dirty/wet etc. Not sure if this is realistic but I am assuming it would be less expensive than a nice pergola. Or we plan for large pergula to cover bbq, dining and conversational area.
