Ami Saunders, MLA Feb 2013 To clarify the above comment, the pergola is unattached for structural reasons. The top panels are very special. This homeowner wanted to have an all-season outdoor room. The yard has some wonderful trees that cast deep shade. In order to allow light into the home yet provide adequate shelter from the elements, we used panels that reflect heat yet allow sunlight. Yes, the Gennius retractable pergola awning is available in multiple models and colors. This is the L1 model, which has integrated lumber in the guide rails, posts and gutter. The wood is also available in different stains. The other Gennius models that are available do come in different colors as well; the standard colors are White, Charcoal and Sand.
