That looks like a Statuario (Staturio, Statuary) Marble. If you want a harder stone with a marble look, check out White Macaubas Quartzite. Quartzite is a natural stone, quarried just like marble, but it's often harder than granite.

The countertops are quartz made by MSI. The perimeter color is iced white and the island is arctic white.

The cabinets in the kitchen are indeed our custom design. The door style of the cabinets are similar to a Shaker Base with an inset square panel. We added an additional custom molding to the panel to create an interesting profile.

Yes. Calacatta without a doubt. The installers would have bought the slab for the island and then cleverly found some 3x6" subway tiles to match. Excellent job. Calacatta is a very difficult marble to work with. It is has too much veining it looks really too busy, but then too white and, well it no longer looks like Calacatta. I have attached an image of our Calacatta it is $15.95SF, this looks like honed. Our is found online here: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/cagoitma3xsuhoned.html The trick to buying Calacatta and getting this look or the look I have attached is over ordering. You have to buy far more than you need. If you nee 50SF you would have to buy 20-30% more. Then you can pick through and discard the tiles you do not want. If you are not prepared to do that. Then I would recommend not ordering as selecting this tile is the key to creating the perfect look.
