Lights can adapt to the daylight It’s very common in new office buildings to utilise ‘daylight harvesting’, and it’s quite an amazing technology. Essentially, a designer will nominate the light level required in an open space up front. Light level sensors are installed throughout, then when the daylight coming through the windows is less than the designated light level, lights are automatically turned on and are dimmed to a level that brings the ambient light up to that pre-determined level.
Cool use of my favourite green and the diamond tile floor
Just love the architectural style and stonework on this home.
Like the colour scheme and the stonework in the entrance walk way.

Stay in proportion. The average size of a kitchen island is about 1m by 2m. This would typically have a surrounding clearance zone of about 0.8m. But an island’s size is usually determined by the distances around it, so it makes sense that larger rooms can allow for bigger islands. The design of the large island in this kitchen works beautifully and makes an eye-catching statement. But something too large for the room could spoil your kitchen’s aesthetic. A good kitchen designer will help you determine just how large you should go.
A niche is a great idea. Who hasn't fumbled around on the floor of the shower trying to pick up your soap or shampoo\?
A small sink next to the espresso machine is no luxury, it is an essential.
Mug and cup drawer under the station is a great idea
Measure table-to-furniture clearance. If there is furniture in the dining space, begin your 107 - 122 cm measurement from the edge of the furniture instead of the wall.
With efficient under-tile flooring systems and hidden drains, the shower floor can be a sleek continuation of the bathroom floor. A half wall, with no door or hinge hardware, disappears, making your bathroom appear much larger. TIP: Look for a drainage system that butts up to the wall, so there are no ugly drains in the middle of the shower floor.
