Baywolf dalton, Inc.
The structural beams running from the front exterior wall to the back had the feeling of spaghetti. I wanted it to have more mass and structure; conforming to the overall cottage look our clients wanted. We added the vertical yolk members and painted out the beams and it was transformational, from the 1960 feel to a cottage. The narrow hall was enhanced with wainscot and halogen lighting to become a gallery for their art. We also added true English un-lacquered lights to the existing dark bookcases in the living room.
