With the addition of hardwood flooring, we anchored the room with a jeweled tone area rug. We chose furniture pieces that allows the family to kick back and curl up with a good book or just gather for conversation. We broke up some of the wood in the room by adding simple drapery panels in the bay of windows. This creates a wonderful backdrop for the comfortable furniture pieces chosen for the room.
