This color looks black, but is actually considered "Charleston Green." Linear pavers lead the garden stroller from place to place alongside a rain garden filled with swaying grasses that spans the side yard and culminates at a gracefully arching pomegranate tree, A bubbling boulder water feature murmurs soothing sounds. A large steel and willow-roof pergola creates a shady space to dine in and chaise lounges and chairs bask in the surrounding shade. The transformation was completed with a bold and biodiverse selection of low water, climate appropriate plants that make the space come alive. branches laden with impossibly red blossoms and fruit.

Petros DesignThis terraced garden replaces an old sports court. The court is still serving as the patios in the middle terrace. Natural Bluestone was integrated in additional patios by the house and the lower terrace. The lower terrace serves as a water slowing drywell but is an excellent place to sit by an open fire pit and watch the Alpenglow on Mount Saint Helens and Mount Adams or watch the dancing city lights.

Dig Your Garden Landscape DesignAPLD 2022 Award Winning Landscape Design. We designed and installed this dramatic living wall / vertical garden to add a welcoming focal point, and a great way to add living beauty to the large front house wall. The wall includes a variety of succulents, grass-like and cascading plants some with flowers, (some with flowers, Oxalis, Heuchera designed to provide long cascading "waves" with appealing textures and colors. The dated walkway was updated with large geometric concrete pavers with polished black pebbles in between, and a new concrete driveway. Water-wise grasses flowering plants and succulents replace the lawn. This updated modern renovation for this mid-century modern home includes a new garage and front entrance door and modern garden light fixtures. Charles Di Piazza ArchitectureTexas French Bread Garden occupies a space between the public and private - an appropriate gesture for a site that buffers a neighborhood from a local eatery. The garden consists of a seating area arranged behind layers of native plantings, low walls, and rain gardens. These devices create a space that at once opens and closes itself to views and accessibility.
CAVINESS LANDSCAPE DESIGN, INC.This Caviness project for a modern farmhouse design in a community-based neighborhood called The Prairie At Post in Oklahoma. This complete outdoor design includes a large swimming pool with waterfalls, an underground slide, stream bed, glass tiled spa and sun shelf, native Oklahoma flagstone for patios, pathways and hand-cut stone retaining walls, lush mature landscaping and landscape lighting, a prairie grass embedded pathway design, embedded trampoline, all which overlook the farm pond and Oklahoma sky. This project was designed and installed by Caviness Landscape Design, Inc., a small locally-owned family boutique landscape design firm located in Arcadia, Oklahoma. We handle most all aspects of the design and construction in-house to control the quality and integrity of each project.
