Bob Chatham Custom Home DesignThe interior has incredible detail with coffered ceilings and wood paneling on the walls in the entry. The wide plank oak flooring stands out against the crisp white walls and elegant lighting. The floor to ceiling windows and doors provide plenty of light for the open floor plan. The wide arched doorways add to the architectural detail throughout the living areas. Built by Phillip Vlahos of Destin Custom Home Builders. It was designed by Bob Chatham Custom Home Design and decorated by Allyson Runnels.
Wide Plank Floor SupplyNot part of the original renovation, this wine cellar has a unique and special place in the present family's lives. The wine cellar was a 25th wedding anniversary gift from the husband to his wife. It was constructed while the wife and a son were away on a 9 month service learning sabbatical. It was formerly the boiler room with a coal chute. The American walnut that was used was harvested from a felled tree on the property following a storm in 2010. The husband had the walnut cut into boards to be used for a project at some time in the future. It is now part of a wine cellar built by the oldest son and his grandfather for their mom/daughter. The random width engineered American walnut is finished with WOCA hardening European oil.

Joseph and Curtis Custom Wine CellarsThis is the recently finished "SOHO" style basement. There are four people in the home (2 young children) We have always loved the NY Soho vibe and decided to bring it to our basement. The wine cellar,bar,kitchenette, and entertainment center are all made of stainless steel and African Wenge. Joseph and Curtis Custom Wine Cellars built,designed, and installed all of them. The entertainment center has an access door to our mechanical space on the right side...that cabinet had to be built to fit to the 1/16th of an inch, yet be on rollers. The wine cellar has 8 lockers for friends to share their own little space in the wine room. The bar was designed after seeing the Trump Soho hoyel bar...with just a little more detail :)

It is the ultimate gentleman’s, connoisseur and designer retail chose of luxury timber finish. This Macassar ebony wine display has been further complemented with light brushed brass doors and handles.
The slim profile brushed doors with concealed hinges, not only look fantastic but have all the built-in functional requirements for a refrigerated wine wall display. The doors close onto the internal carcass gasket, that creates an airtight seal. Once closed they automatically lock via an internal fob controlled built-in locking system. The RFID fob reader has been concealed inside the wine displays external cabinetry side wall, in a location selected by the client. Scanning the fob over this area of the displays external sidewalls will unlock the doors.

LED lighting above the display rows. LED lighting strips recessed into the ceiling.
"Cooperage" reclaimed wine barrel flooring. The racks slope downward in a stair step fashion, following the slant of the stairway.

ballonSTUDIO interiors & remodelingOur San Francisco studio designed this beautiful four-story home for a young newlywed couple to create a warm, welcoming haven for entertaining family and friends. In the living spaces, we chose a beautiful neutral palette with light beige and added comfortable furnishings in soft materials. The kitchen is designed to look elegant and functional, and the breakfast nook with beautiful rust-toned chairs adds a pop of fun, breaking the neutrality of the space. In the game room, we added a gorgeous fireplace which creates a stunning focal point, and the elegant furniture provides a classy appeal. On the second floor, we went with elegant, sophisticated decor for the couple's bedroom and a charming, playful vibe in the baby's room. The third floor has a sky lounge and wine bar, where hospitality-grade, stylish furniture provides the perfect ambiance to host a fun party night with friends. In the basement, we designed a stunning wine cellar with glass walls and concealed lights which create a beautiful aura in the space. The outdoor garden got a putting green making it a fun space to share with friends.
