"Everything went well and I did use a nail gun to assemble the racking. I ran into some space issues once I added the oak paneling for my walls, so I ended up having to customize the racking to fit into the space. What I did is cut down the racking on the left side and adjusted it to support 3L bottles. Pretty cool huh? :-) The walls are lined with wine corks (over 3K) I've collected over the past 15 years of drinking wine. It really gives it a cool look, but also serves as a reminder of all the great wines we've had over the years. I also added commercial multicolor LED light tape throughout the cellar to create different effects. It's pretty cool to have ten or so different colors to cycle through. As you can see below, the cellar is almost 100% complete. The only things left to do are install the AC unit, get a glass door, and fill the 3L slots with some good wine! :-) Happy Holidays and thanks for providing me with products that allowed me to build my cellar. Pour les vrais amateurs de vin, il faut bien plus qu’une étagère de cuisine pour conserver une collection de bonnes bouteilles. Un aménagement de cave à vin de maison est nécessaire. Elle vous fournira la place nécessaire pour stocker vos bouteilles à la température idéale pour une conservation du vin optimale. En plus, une bonne déco de cave à vin vous garantit un endroit agréable pour apprécier un bon vin. Avant de faire des travaux, voici quelques conseils et astuces pour vous aider dans votre projet. Comment aménager une cave à vin enterrée ?

L’aménagement d’une cave à vin enterrée est très courant. Avant de vous lancer, pensez au nombre de bouteilles que vous avez ou à la taille que vous aimeriez atteindre pour votre collection de vins. Commencez par étudier la surface dont vous disposez pour déterminer la dimension de votre pièce. Renseignez-vous sur les meilleures conditions de conservation et de stockage du vin et assurez-vous que votre espace peut respecter ces normes. Un sol en béton ou pierre recouvert de sable ou de graviers et des murs de briques peints à la chaux offrent des conditions idéales. Sinon, vous avez la possibilité d’en faire creuser une ou alors d’acheter une cave à vin préfabriquée à enterrer. Sachez que stocker le vin à la bonne température est la clé du succès. Essayez de conserver vos bouteilles dans une pièce trop chaude et votre vin vieillira plus vite. Il s’oxydera ou perdra de sa saveur et de son caractère. Vous pouvez installer un climatiseur et un déshumidificateur dans votre cellier pour réguler la température et le taux d’humidité de la pièce. Munissez-vous d’un thermomètre et d’un hygromètre pour les vérifier facilement. Investissez dans des éléments de rangement pour les vins. Installez un grand nombre d’étagères murales porte-bouteilles avec des clayettes pour bouteilles. Elles sont disponibles en bois, béton, plastique ou métal. Disposez les vins blancs et champagnes en bas et les vins rouges en haut. Utilisez un escabeau pliant pour ranger vos bouteilles. Pour un coin bien organisé, notez sur des étiquettes ou un cahier, les dates d’achat, les références des exploitants et vos appréciations. Prévoyez de la place au sol pour ranger les caisses à bouteilles.
