Designers NurseryWe had a bit of a challenge with the size of the room, and the furniture the parents chose for the bedroom. There was a fine line between making the room look like it is all furniture or letting the bold colors pop against the walls. There was also enough going on with the fabrics we chose for the room, so we opted for solid walls.
We knew we were going with a nautical theme, and the fabrics for the bedding, window treatments and lighting was beautiful and unique. I felt it would work well with the navy furniture. The room has a different twist to the usual nautical boats. Plus, I knew the window treatment was going to steal the show.

Once, these spaces were just relegated to the outside, many families are now seeking ways to keep kids entertained inside. We took an open attic space and transformed it into a dream play space for young children. With plenty of space for “rough housing” and for adult seating, this space will help keep cabin fever at bay for years to come.
down2earth Interior Design, LLC.Who wouldn’t want a giant floral mural as the focus wall of their daughter’s bedroom? This mom (and daughter) certainly embraced the feminine here, with this colorful mural behind the bed. We paired the mural with Sherwin Williams color ‘Inspired Lilac’, because lavender is the young occupant’s favorite.
On the Jenny Lind bed, we used fresh cut floral bedding.
Round white night tables are a perfect place to put down that bedtime reading when young eyes get heavy. The gold reading lamps were an opportunity for a little bling. A window bench is the perfect place for a young reader to cuddle up. The bench material is just a little bit sparkly. It’s made of a polyurethane and has “ink resistant technology”, so it’s a forgiving upholstery selection for a spot where a young girl might be writing.

Decorating Den InteriorsInspiration came from the wallpaper, chosen to reflect the family's love of travel. Bright colors accent the black/blue and white color scheme. Friends can play games, create videos and relax with a movie with soft drinks right out of the coffee table refrigerator, while charging their electronic devises with the integrated USB ports!
