The Acorn door handles were designed specially for this clients kitchen. In the corner a curved bench was attached onto the wall creating additional seating around a circular table. The large wall pantry with bi-fold doors creates a fantastic workstation & storage area for food & appliances. The small island adds an extra work surface and has storage space.

Sustainable KitchensGlazed oak cabinet with LED lights painted in Farrow & Ball Chappell Green maximise the space by making the most of the high ceilings. The unified colour also creates a more spacious feeling.
Tim Wood LimitedThis elegant, classic painted kitchen was designed and made by Tim Wood to act as the hub of this busy family house in Kensington, London.
The kitchen has many elements adding to its traditional charm, such as Shaker-style peg rails, an integrated larder unit, wall inset spice racks and a limestone floor. A richly toned iroko worktop adds warmth to the scheme, whilst honed Nero Impala granite upstands feature decorative edging and cabinet doors take on a classic style painted in Farrow & Ball's pale powder green. A decorative plasterer was even hired to install cornicing above the wall units to give the cabinetry an original feel.
But despite its homely qualities, the kitchen is packed with top-spec appliances behind the cabinetry doors. There are two large fridge freezers featuring icemakers and motorised shelves that move up and down for improved access, in addition to a wine fridge with individually controlled zones for red and white wines. These are teamed with two super-quiet dishwashers that boast 30-minute quick washes, a 1000W microwave with grill, and a steam oven with various moisture settings.
The steam oven provides a restaurant quality of food, as you can adjust moisture and temperature levels to achieve magnificent flavours whilst retaining most of the nutrients, including minerals and vitamins.
The La Cornue oven, which is hand-made in Paris, is in brushed nickel, stainless steel and shiny black. It is one of the most amazing ovens you can buy and is used by many top Michelin rated chefs. It has domed cavity ovens for better baking results and makes a really impressive focal point too.
Completing the line-up of modern technologies are a bespoke remote controlled extractor designed by Tim Wood with an external motor to minimise noise, a boiling and chilled water dispensing tap and industrial grade waste disposers on both sinks.

Baker & Baker Bespoke Kitchens & FurnitureDesigned and crafted out of beautiful British timbers for a property in the heart of Suffolk, the owners, our clients, divulged that they had spent months trawling the internet and country's considerable retail market, visiting countless showrooms before discovering Baker & Baker Bespoke Kitchens and "knowing instantly" that this was what they had been searching for; a Baker & Baker handcrafted bespoke kitchen to serve as the centrepiece to the home they had been yearning for; especially with the bespoke cabinetry, transformed from raw timber to their soon-to-be kitchen under the same roof!
We must say we were rather proud!
Extensively renovated and extended, the clients knew exactly what they wanted, drawing inspiration from our showroom display.
They chose a painted kitchen with two colours from the Farrow & Ball range and a mix of granite counter tops for the cabinets and central island. The door knobs and drawer pulls have an antique brass finish which work beautifully with both colours.
The island has a double curved base cabinet with a wooden chopping block and features a seated area at one end. There is a copper tap and prep sink set into the granite top.
Other points of interest are the oak drawers with handle cut outs and visible dove tails, the Quooker tap, the glass display cabinets and the full height larder. We particularly like the purpose built chimney mantle standing above the Lacanche oven – the perfect focal point for this kitchen, we are sure you will agree.
A subtle combination of colour and finishes blend perfectly together to make this room very pleasing on the eye.

Tim Wood LimitedThis light and airy kitchen was painted in a Farrow and Ball green, with raised and fielded panels throughout . All the cupboards have adjustable shelves and all the drawers have a painted Farrow and Ball cock beaded face frame surround and are internally made of European oak set on hidden under mounted soft close runners.
The island has a thick solid European oak worktop, while the rest of the worktops throughout the kitchen are green limestone with bull nosed edging and have a shaped upstand with a fine line inset detail just below the top. The main oven range is a Wolf with an extractor above it individually designed by Tim Wood with the motor set in the attic in a sound insulated box. Beside the large Sub-zero fridge/freezer there is a Gaggenau oven and Gaggenau steam oven. The two sinks are classic ceramic under mounted with a Maxmatic 5000 waste disposal in one of them, with Barber Wilsons nickel plated taps above.
