123 Remodeling Inc.This vintage condo in the heart of Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL) needed an update that fit with all the traditional moldings and details, but the owner was looking for something more fun than a classic white and gray kitchen. The deep green and gold fixtures give the kitchen a bold, but elegant style. We maximized storage by adding additional cabinets and taking them to the ceiling, and finished with a traditional crown to align with much of the trim throughout the rest of the space. The floors are a more modern take on the vintage black/white hexagon that was popular around the time the condo building was constructed. The backsplash emulates something simple - a white tile, but adds in variation and a hand-made look give it an additional texture, and some movement against the counters, without being too busy.

H. Miller BrosThe brief for this unique kitchen was for it to be ‘a huge piece of furniture’. Well….. challenge accepted. To achieve this goal, we knew that we needed to approach the design from the details outwards, so we started with the cabinet doors. As the kitchen was to be over three levels rather than the traditional two, and because we wanted to articulate the idea of ‘furniture’ rather than ‘kitchen cabinets’, we designed three complimentary cabinet doors, each with their own personalities.
Door pulls and pan hooks were made from beautiful hexagonal brass rods, and drawers were lined for cutlery, utensils and cookware. A slim shelf above the splashback provided a place for kitchen essentials like salt and oil. The mid-level of the kitchen was kept clean and uncluttered by means of our signature F+B ‘School House’ off-white lacquer, so that the wood didn’t feel overpowering.
But the main event is the truss shelf that spans the open side of the kitchen like a portal frame. This beautifully detailed piece of Japanese-inspired design gives space for the client’s collection of Asian ceramics, and for our bespoke Japanese shoji paper lanterns, which light the space.
A unique kitchen, handmade like only a furniture maker could.

Now KitchensSmall is beautiful! It's the details in this holiday apartment in Porthleven that make all the difference. The kitchen is Masterclass Sutton H-Line (handlesless) in Heritage Grey with Oak accents on the handle rail and plinth. Solid oak shelving has been stained to match the other wood details and cleverly contrasted by industrial look lighting. The huge glass splashback in Decoglaze 'Aegean' really makes this petite kitchen stand out from the crowd.
Naked KitchensThe Royal Mile Kitchen perfects the collaboration between contemporary & character features in this beautiful, historic home. The kitchen uses a clean and fresh colour scheme with White Quartz worktops and Inchyra Blue painted handleless cabinets throughout. The ultra-sleek large island provides a stunning centrepiece and makes a statement with its wraparound worktop. A convenient seating area is cleverly created around the island, allowing the perfect space for informal dining.
Neil Kelly CompanyA brightened space with reflective surfaces that enhance the natural light in the room. High gloss metallic finish on the cabinetry creates a contemporary aesthetic paired with custom painted glass doors. Repurposed light fixtures twinkle above the kitchen island, and wood slab doors add warmth and anchor the space with the flooring. As a final touch, custom concrete sinks were stained to match the cabinets, and a custom tile niche was created for the homeowner’s sculpture display.
Lori Ramsay DesignThe goal of this remodel was to elevate and update all the finishes in the primary living areas. The kitchen has a place for everything and everything in its place. Storage and organization were key. Clean lines for a timeless classic look and soothing colors create a calm and inviting home. Expanding the opening to the dining room makes this family use the room for nightly dinners. The new larger island provides seating for everyone for breakfast, homework and snack time.

Saltwater Kitchen & Bath StudioRetirement home designed for extended family! I loved this couple! They decided to build their retirement dream home before retirement so that they could enjoy entertaining their grown children and their newly started families. A bar area with 2 beer taps, space for air hockey, a large balcony, a first floor kitchen with a large island opening to a fabulous pool and the ocean are just a few things designed with the kids in mind. The color palette is casual beach with pops of aqua and turquoise that add to the relaxed feel of the home.
Zara Kitchen DesignOur client had recently purchased a classic Victorian home with an orangery. Previously the kitchen was only in the original part of their home, but they wanted to make more of the space and change the original U shaped kitchen to an L shape with an island.
The choices picked were from Rotpunkt in a range called Tempo (shaker style door) which were painted in a bespoke shade of green. The island is from Bauformat in a range called Singapur in Brass. The handles were bespoke and sourced through other suppliers and the quartz worktops are in Silestone Eternal Noir (suede finish). The result is a completely unique and modern look which is beautiful, classic and modern all at the same time with plenty of clever storage.
