Just in Thyme Landscape DesignA retired client wanted to jazz up the entrance to her home but leave the orchard, veggie beds and hardscape the way it was. Since she does all the maintenance herself, I wanted to make sure she wouldn't have too many weeds so we used the winter months to sheet mulch the area, killing the massive amount of existing weeds & enriching the hard soil. This worked beautifully.
We added a flagstone pathway with Dymondia between the stones and a small area for her new bench to sit and enjoy the garden. She didn't want plants under her messy tree, so we decorated that area with pots. She has a huge deer & gopher problem which is why she hangs the white ribbons to scare away the deer from her fruit trees.

The sound of water running softly through this lovely water feature provides a relaxing sound that inspires relaxation which makes you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy all the simple pleasures life has to offer. Not only are water features lovely, they will make any space look more aesthetically pleasing and are the next best thing to living on a lovely lake or a sparking fish pond.
This water feature has bubbling urns which can be installed with multiple sizes in groupings or we can design & install your water feature to have only one gorgeous stand alone urn. We love installing these beautiful urns in pondless waterfalls as well as in streams and fish ponds while adding LED lighting to them. Another cool feature is the addition of FIRE to the top of our fountains which really enhances the whole garden and makes the house stand out from the rest.

A small front yard with interesting elevation changes created by terracing. Terracing and elevation changes make small yards appear to have more depth. The color of the weeping Cercis tree accents the shutters color. and the yellow green and orange plants accent the Cercis color. Using complementary colors makes both color look more vibrant. Grant and Power LandscapingThe homeowners enjoy a wonderful view from the front porch. The front yard is heavily shaded by large trees, eliminating turf as an option. Instead, we situated a pergola in the center of the space, with a flagstone path providing easy access. This encourages movement through the space and helps to bring the landscape into scale with the property.

On top of the custom metal table base we installed limestone slabs. We decided wo add warmth to the space, by finding a reclaimed piece of wood and affixing it to a custom metal base.
