AquaTerra OutdoorsThis project was a challenging outdoor renovation. During design process we had to work closely with the City because of the close proximity to drainage easements. Our client was very patient and great to work with as we went through the design process. Based on the end result, the wait was worth it. We were able to design and install a new pool, water feature, raised infinity edge spa, wood deck with fire feature, new fence and all new landscape.

Design BroueletteThis Japanese garden was designed to portray a scene of mountains and rivers. Sand gravel raked into a particular pattern is meant to symbolize the river, while rocks placed on the sand symbolize mountains.
Green Tree Garden Design LtdOur client’s garden was tired and neglected, full of children’s play equipment and a small area of block paving. They were keen to create a garden that provided interesting and varied play opportunities for their two children, whilst still retaining areas that could be enjoyed by the adults.
We removed the old garage, and the unattractive conifer hedge in the top corner of the garden. An area has been created for their son to kick his football, and this is framed by various climbing structures that in turn surround the trampoline area. Monkey bars double as a pergola, and in time planting will soften their appearance.
A small seating area has been created to capture the evening sun, whilst a generous patio has been built outside the kitchen. This is edged with chunky raised beds, planted with colourful and long-flowering perennials that will attract bees and butterflies throughout the summer. Some of the beds have been set aside for growing vegetables, and my client reports that they have enjoyed a healthy crop of tomatoes and salad leaves this summer!
New trees have been planted to provide screening, colour and berries for the birds.

Bosler Earth DesignMy clients wanted their backyard to act as an extension of the home, and with busy modern schedules, the ambience at night is as important as during the day. Even so the space was tiny, they wanted to be able to entertain and invite the full symphony, lounge, enjoy smores, screen movies on their garage wall. Due to the limited space the plants were limited to pocket gardens .Natural wood was used to warm the space and cover the unsightly neighbor's wall while concrete stepping steps keep the space contemporary.
