Twisted Rock Terrascape & Design, Inc.We designed and built this custom grotto down by our clients creek that runs through their property. We ran electrical, gas, and water down 200 feet from the house and put in our own hydrant below frost. We then built a hidden, sunken boiler room behind the retaining wall to hold the boiler for both the custom stainless steel spa and the heated flagstone patio. The auto-fill and auto-chem as well as mechanical for the retractable cover are housed in the boiler room. Super cool!!

Hedahl Landscape Deck & PatioAfter Picture; Wall placement was critical because of the septic drainfield lines. The woodchip pathways were installed from both ends of yard and provided ground level access to raised garden peninsulas from above, while homeowners could stand at lower level and work in raised garden beds. Drip system was designed for beds and garden separate. The neat thing with the Allan Block is the tab is on top, so we can use it for a border "edge" and not require a cap. A cap was installed on the 2' high seat wall in curved section next to paver patio. The mixed pattern wall is Allan Block in Europa tumbled series shown in Rocky Mountain color blend.
Erik Jones LandscapingThis Waterfall, which is the start of this large waterfeature, acts as the Cornerstone for this Project. A number of the boulders are up to 8 feet across! About 1200 gallons a minute (72,000gph) flows over this waterfall. The waterfeature moves 2000 gallons a minute (120,000gph) when everything is flowing!
The waterfall drops about 17' in total and the stream drops about 3' for a total of 20' of elevation change. There are koi, goldfish, and shubunkins in the pond!
The pond is used for vineyard irrigation as well as aesthetics.
