UserThis dining room makes an impression from top to bottom – starting with the copper-painted metallic ceiling and mural of a weeping cherry tree with starling birds. A metallic silver-champagne trim accents the dark walnut stain of the hardwoods and the sheer graphic print ivory and copper window treatments and roman shades.
Stained French doors and an ebonized French china cabinet circa 1880 frame a custom round dining table; the brass and nickel drapery hardware reflect the transitional chandelier of brushed nickel. A custom wool rug with gold and copper tone on tone echo the colors in the transitional, tufted back metallic copper leather dining chairs.
This square dining room’s round table makes it ideal for conversation, inviting guests to linger in its ample chairs. The many textures and contrast of deep cooper and ivory patterns create quite an effect in the room’s windows.
Statement of StyleWarm and inviting contemporary great room in The Ridges. The large wall panels of walnut accent the automated art that covers the TV when not in use. The floors are beautiful French Oak that have been faux finished and waxed for a very natural look. There are two stunning round custom stainless pendants with custom linen shades. The round cocktail table has a beautiful book matched top in Macassar ebony. A large cable wool shag rug makes a great room divider in this very grand room. The backdrop is a concrete fireplace with two leather reading chairs and ottoman. Timeless sophistication!
IS ArchitectureThe large family room features a cozy fireplace, TV media, and a large built-in bookcase. The adjoining craft room is separated by a set of pocket french doors; where the kids can be visible from the family room as they do their homework.

UserAmong the many luxuries found in this home is having the perfect space to entertain. The great room has a wall of slide-away glass doors, allowing the ocean view and California sunsets to be enjoyed and appreciated. Cool shades of gray are combined with warm wood tones, creating a soft contemporary decor. The wire brushed light oak flooring is offset by planked mahogany insets in the ceiling.
Cynthia Bennett & AssociatesThis restoration and addition had the aim of preserving the original Spanish Revival style, which meant plenty of colorful tile work, and traditional custom elements.
SV DesignHaving been neglected for nearly 50 years, this home was rescued by new owners who sought to restore the home to its original grandeur. Prominently located on the rocky shoreline, its presence welcomes all who enter into Marblehead from the Boston area. The exterior respects tradition; the interior combines tradition with a sparse respect for proportion, scale and unadorned beauty of space and light.
