Kimberlee Marie InteriorsThis one is near and dear to my heart. Not only is it in my own backyard, it is also the first remodel project I've gotten to do for myself! This space was previously a detached two car garage in our backyard. Seeing it transform from such a utilitarian, dingy garage to a bright and cheery little retreat was so much fun and so rewarding! This space was slated to be an AirBNB from the start and I knew I wanted to design it for the adventure seeker, the savvy traveler, and those who appreciate all the little design details . My goal was to make a warm and inviting space that our guests would look forward to coming back to after a full day of exploring the city or gorgeous mountains and trails that define the Pacific Northwest. I also wanted to make a few bold choices, like the hunter green kitchen cabinets or patterned tile, because while a lot of people might be too timid to make those choice for their own home, who doesn't love trying it on for a few days?At the end of the day I am so happy with how it all turned out!

Sea Pearl Quartzite slabs were used on an entire wall and around the vanity and served as this ethereal palette inspiration. Kayron Brewer, CMKBD / Studio K BThis bath offers generous space without going overboard in square footage. The homeowner chose to go with a large double vanity and a nice shower with custom features and a shower seat and decided to forgo the typical big soaking tub. The vanity area shown in this photo has plenty of storage within the mirrored wall cabinets and the large drawers below. The mirrors were cased out with the matching woodwork and crown detail. The countertop is Crema Marfil slab marble with undermount Marzi sinks. The Kallista faucetry was chosen in chrome since it was an easier finish to maintain for years to come. Other metal details were done in the oil rubbed bronze to work with the theme through out the home. The floor tile is a 12 x 12 Bursa Beige Marble that is set on the diagonal. The backsplash to the vanity is the companion Bursa Beige mini running bond mosaic with a cap also in the Bursa Beige marble. Vaulted ceilings add to the dramatic feel of this bath. The bronze and crystal chandelier also adds to the dramatic glamour of the bath.

Haven Design and ConstructionThis sophisticated black and white bath belongs to the clients' teenage son. He requested a masculine design with a warming towel rack and radiant heated flooring. A few gold accents provide contrast against the black cabinets and pair nicely with the matte black plumbing fixtures. A tall linen cabinet provides a handy storage area for towels and toiletries. The focal point of the room is the bold shower tile accent wall that provides a welcoming surprise when entering the bath from the basement hallway.
Muse ResidentialIn this farmhouse inspired bathroom there are four different patterns in just this one shot. The key to it all working is color! Using the same colors in all four, makes this bath look cohesive and fun, without being too busy. The gold in the accent tile ties in with the gold in the wallpaper, and the white ties all four together. By keeping a neutral gray on the wall and vanity, the eye has time to rest making this bath a real stunner!

Angie Keyes CKBDThis Condo has been in the family since it was first built. And it was in desperate need of being renovated. The kitchen was isolated from the rest of the condo. The laundry space was an old pantry that was converted. We needed to open up the kitchen to living space to make the space feel larger. By changing the entrance to the first guest bedroom and turn in a den with a wonderful walk in owners closet.
Then we removed the old owners closet, adding that space to the guest bath to allow us to make the shower bigger. In addition giving the vanity more space.
The rest of the condo was updated. The master bath again was tight, but by removing walls and changing door swings we were able to make it functional and beautiful all that the same time.
