Architecture & RénovationNotre client a acheté cet appartement dans le but de créer une grande pièce de vie regroupant le séjour et la cuisine ouverte.
La difficulté technique du projet a été de créer cet agencement avec la contrainte de conserver le poteau porteur situé au milieu de la pièce.
Nous avons fait des portes en médium laqué affleurant au mur les rendant très discrètes.
La cuisine a été customisé pour accentuer la sensation de hauteur sous plafond.
Nous avons baissé le plafond de l’espace cuisine pour designer l’espace par le haut.
Nous avons travaillé sur une palette de couleur vive avec un jeu de texture entre les murs et les boiseries et avons posé du papier peint de chez « élitis » sur un pan de mur en harmonie avec les couleurs.
A l’étage, nous avons posé une verrière type atelier pour rendre la lumière traversante dans la salle de bain.Des carreaux de zellige toute hauteur de couleur vert d’eau ont été posé pour faire ressortir la couleur noire du receveur en pierre volcanique.
Mon Concept HabitationDes tonalités neutres et des matières nobles ont été minutieusement sélectionnées pour ce projet de rénovation. Côté déco, les lignes sont pures et légères. Un lieu de méditation idéal qui allie fonctionnalité, clarté et confort !

Chen + Suchart StudioPlain sliced black walnut and Calacatta Oro stone clad the master vanity. Basalt stone in various configurations finish the floor of the space and the walk-in shower. Custom stainless steel supports allow for the mirrors to float in the space while creating some separation of the master shower from the master bathroom.

Some designers are less than enthusiastic when it comes to bathroom vanities but I love them…particularly when a client wants to maximize both their functionality and beauty. This custom 72” is a great example. Its clean, modern style gracefully floats in the space and behind the doors is an array of unique storage options. To complement the simplicity of the vanity lines, instead of adding another cabinet or armoire, we opted for cool floating drawers and shelves. The lighting and faucet fixtures echo the modern and tailored aesthetic.

Allow us to introduce this masculine master bathroom—a stunning fusion of functionality and sophistication. Enter through pocket doors into a walk-in closet, seamlessly connecting to the muscular allure of the bathroom.
The boldness of the design is evident in the choice of Blue Naval cabinets adorned with exquisite Brushed Gold hardware, embodying a luxurious yet robust aesthetic. Highlighting the shower area, the Newbev Triangles Dusk tile graces the walls, imparting modern elegance.
Complementing the ambiance, the Olivia Wall Sconce Vanity Lighting adds refined glamour, casting a warm glow that enhances the space's inviting atmosphere. Every element harmonizes, creating a master bathroom that exudes both strength and sophistication, inviting indulgence and relaxation. This small space needed a broad visual footprint to feel open. everything was raised off the floor.; wall hung toilet, and cabinetry, even a floating seat in the shower. Mix of materials, glass front vanity, integrated glass counter top, stone tile and porcelain tiles. All give tit a modern sleek look. The sconces look like rock crystals next to the recessed medicine cabinet. The shower has a curbless entry and is generous in size and comfort with a folding bench and handy niche.

Amazing SpacesThe tub was eliminated in favor of a large walk-in shower featuring double shower heads, multiple shower sprays, a steam unit, two wall-mounted teak seats, a curbless glass enclosure and a minimal infinity drain. Additional floor space in the design allowed us to create a separate water closet. A pocket door replaces a standard door so as not to interfere with either the open shelving next to the vanity or the water closet entrance. We kept the location of the skylight and added a new window for additional light and views to the yard. We responded to the client’s wish for a modern industrial aesthetic by featuring a large metal-clad double vanity and shelving units, wood porcelain wall tile, and a white glass vanity top. Special features include an electric towel warmer, medicine cabinets with integrated lighting, and a heated floor. Industrial style pendants flank the mirrors, completing the symmetry.
