Jack Trench Bespoke Kitchens - Kensington
The key brief from our client was to design a ‘lived-in’ modern kitchen, albeit detailed to the highest specifications in terms of integrated appliances and use of materials. We realized this seemingly unplanned and eclectic style by combining walnut, oak and green slate with bold accents of yellow and the bespoke cabinetry, while fitted throughout, has been detailed to retain the look of individual pieces of furniture.
A full-height pantry is one of several focal points in the layout: made in solid and custom-veneered oak, it features custom-fabricated stainless steel handles, integrated refrigeration and downlighting. Adjacent to the pantry is a long elevation made in solid and custom-veneered walnut with the principle work surface, ledge and splashbacks in green Cumbrian slate – bespoke features include floating shelves and a pullout work surface fitted to the corner alcove. The elevation houses a full complement of integrated appliances including a warming drawer, 5-burner gas hob, two single ovens, under-counter double fridge drawers and dishwasher.
