Restoration Hardware Inspired Home Design
This is a project that we worked on in a gorgeous home located in Carmel, Indiana. The style is a mix of transitional, Restoration Hardware and glamour. The interior design of the home flows from each room providing a style connection within the spaces. This is accomplished with the use of similar color palette and furniture style.
The chairs were upholstered in a chocolate velvet. And the custom pillows have self cording. The draperies are seamed with a solid fabric at the top with a pattern fabric at the bottom. We wanted the fabrics in the room to flow together without seeming "matchy". We picked a solid slik fabric (top of drapes) that was the same hue as the velvet for the chairs. We also made sure that the pattern fabric for the draperies and custom pillows were of the same color family. We then used that fabric to find a color of paint from Sherwin Williams for the accent wall. We used an app that allows you to take a picture of fabric and then tells you what that color is in the Serwin Williams Paint line.
