Sunroom Conversion
The homeowners wanted to integrate the rear porch on this home and better connect the house with the deck and the large, leafy back yard for daily enjoyment and entertaining.
Opening up the wall between the kitchen and the porch and raising the floor height of the porch to that of the kitchen provided instant integration of the porch with the home. New energy efficient windows and a wide patio door gave the customers lots of light and a much enhanced connection with the outdoors.
As part of this project, the clients also wanted to update the kitchen and add a bar. This required making some new custom cabinets to match existing. New countertops, backsplash and lighting completed the fresh new look.
