Telluride Bathroom
This bathroom was previously a step up out of the master bedroom and contained a dated sunk in tub and a separate room for a small shower and toilet.
We tore down the wall separating the shower and toilet area and removed the sunken tub. It was an added bonus that the subfloor was rotted and we were able to drop the floor to match the master bedroom which opened up the room even more.
The decision was made to play off of the craftsman charm of the rest of the home and to open up the room. We incorporated "outdoor" materials including plank tile floors, travertine pebbles, and rustic outdoor light fixtures. We also incorporated a custom vanity that features a "makeup box" to keep things nice and tidy.
