Christine Harrison Fine Art and Mosaics

I purchased one of Christine’s paintings a couple of years ago, which I love. We were looking for another painting to compliment our original painting. Christine came to our house to help me decide on size, colours etc and was incredibly helpful. I’m so excited to see my new painting.

Towards the end of last year, our daughter was very taken with a painting hanging in a pub/restaurant in Hitchin. I made enquires and discovered that the painting was by local artist Christine Harrison. We got in touch and asked if it was possible to have a print of the painting. Now, we were only small fry, but Christine could not have been more helpful - finding us the only print available, or more accommodating, offering to deliver it personally, and eventually meeting us in a car park to help us to keep the Christmas gift a secret. The print has been framed and is taking pride of place in our daughter's house and giving a lot of pleasure.

Christine was engaged by us to draw artwork onto the vaulted ceiling of our garden summerhouse. Although we changed our instructions regarding the originally agreed colours on two occasions, she was patient and understanding and provided flexibility with ideas, and creativity in matching colours to bring the project together. She arrived each day on time, was tidy and was professional in all aspects of dealing with us.

Christine carried out a commission for two paintings for a new bar/restaurant project. She took careful note of the brief, researched and thought through her subject matter, and then executed the works to a high standard and within the tight time framework. The results were excellent and much appreciated my the client and the venue's clientel. Her prices were also extremely reasonable

We are so thrilled with the mosaics that Christine made for us. Everyone just loves them (even Grandma, who is an artist and very hard to please); where once was a boring storage building now a space that looks like a cathedral transforming the whole garden area, creating a breath-taking space. Christine has given us exactly what we wanted, her ability to transform our ideas into art is truly a wonderful gift she has. She really is a very talented artist, so pleased that we have found her.

I own a Victorian house with high ceilings and large walls and was looking for statement pieces of art that would complement these spaces and the color schemes I had in place. I contacted Christine via her website and was delighted to find 3 pieces of unique artwork that suited my requirements. I found them competitively priced and have they have given me great pleasure for many years. More recently I have gone back to Christine's studio and bought a smaller mosaic piece which again complements my decor and taste. Christine is excellent at using many different types of media to produce art work to suit many tastes and commissions.

I have commissioned Christine for a family portrait and am extremely happy with the results. It hangs pride of place in our sitting room! She captured all of us beautifully and was very accommodating about minor changes (removing my daughter's braces) and very helpful in presenting different styles. She was very easy to communicate with and worked hard to determine exactly what I wanted. This was a gift for my husband's 40th birthday and it moved him to tears it was so lovely. I chose Christine because I had asked her to paint some art for my bedroom and she did this quickly and beautifully capturing exactly what I wanted. Although this triptych wasn't as demanding as the portrait I am extremely happy with the work. I have two other of Christine's paintings in my home as well. All of her own work is evocative and she is gifted in using may different mediums and styles. She even gave me advice in when hanging them.
