“I engaged Jose Perez Concrete to demolish concrete front steps and exterior steps into basement and replace them with new concrete embedded with rebar and to removed the wrought iron railings in a manner that would preserve their 70-yr-old integrity so that I could send them out for refinishing. Jose and his office assistant Patricia were extremely responsive. I am completely satisfied, and it looks better than I expected. The visit to do the estimate was rescheduled once and then pushed back an hour, all with rapid communication from his excellent office assistant Patricia, but when he arrived he was thorough and provided an oral estimate on the spot, followed by a written estimate with his insurance documentation and references by email. His price was lower than the other estimates, and he included re-doing the sidewalk between the steps and the main city sidewalk, which was not included in the 3 other estimates I obtained. The result is a unified look. He was originally scheduled for a Monday but he asked if he could start the preceding Saturday, which was to my advantage even though it's a noisy, dusty process. He arrived at 8:30 am on Saturday with several trucks and a generator and worked all day. Some demolition continued on Monday but the job was finished on Tuesday. Each day the crew worked till 5:30 or 6:00 and on a day in which they did "quiet" work, they arrived before 7 am. His crew was meticulous about surrounding the area with orange plastic fencing, and at the end of each workday, they piled the boards neatly. He also referred me to an ironworker who came for the wrought iron railings on Thursday for a Tuesday reinstall of refinished, reprimed, and repainted railings at a highly favorable price. I strongly recommend this vendor.”

The team that came out framed and poured about 2100 sq ft of concrete for us that was pitched perfectly to provide proper drainage. They sealed it as well a d it looks absolutely beautiful. He was also very helpful in recommending us to fix some foundation concerns before pouring to avoid further damage down the road.
