“Steve Gyger was responsible for building an addition to our house for a dining room lined with windows with hard wood floors as well as handling all the construction for a renovation on my kitchen which entailed knocking down walls, electrical and pluming, lighting, taking down popcorn off ceilings, removing tile floors and installing hardwood floors, ( which needed to be weaved into existing wood floors in adjoining rooms) adding new base boards throughout whole house and putting in a glass pocket door, as well as creating a fabulous built in bookcase. Also he did work on the outside of the house and screened in porch: new roof and upgrading and painting. Everything looks absolutely beautiful. Steve is easy to work with, very personable and trustworthy, which is extremely important when seeing and dealing with someone in your home on a daily basis! It took longer than originally quoted, which was frustrating when living in the construction site, but he had workers there pretty much every weekday. We only paid when certain things were complete, which was determined before construction began and documented on a contract. I think he was professional and my only real complaint would be about timeliness, some of which was out of his control because of a very rainy season. However, I do not think about that at all now, as I am thoroughly pleased with the end product and very much enjoying the beauty of my 'new' home. I would highly recommend Steve and Marquis Construction as a company with integrity and good workmanship and accountability, with commitment to follow-through.”

“We have been involved with many home renovation projects, but the outcome of our project with Mike tops the bunch. He was on the job each and every day to cover what was to be accomplished that day and also making sure that the sub-contractors had everything they needed to proceed. There was a thorough cleanup at the end of each day that he oversaw. If problems arose Mike either called or showed up to explain and offer a solution. The quote was spot on, and a complete run-down of expenses was presented each week. If only Mike had been with us when we began work on this house! His crew completely transformed out upstairs including gutting one bathroom and adding another. It looks wonderful. Mike gave us a list of great places to secure supplies. Every vendor knew who Mike was and sang his praises. When a crew painting our staircase left some splatters of black paint on the wall he came over and repainted the walls himself. Need I say more. I supervised the renovation of homes at the famed Sea Ranch development in northern California so I know this world well. You will be fortunate if you can secure Mike Ciappa's services.”

Al headed the installation team and he made sure we were completely satisfied. The new closet has an abundance of storage and is very organized. I would not change a thing.
