Some of the projects that Simply Done/Cindi has done at my home include:
1) cleaning out / organizing bedroom closet-which was no small task. In a supportive, but firm way, she helped me release a lot of clothes I was holding onto (but not wearing) & helped organize everything in useful & functional ways (with ideas for keeping things streamlined), that now makes getting ready a pleasure!
2) window boxes, decorations & planters for spring, summer, fall & winter-gorgeous, welcoming & unique! She's also a wiz with outside plantings-shrubs, flowers, trees!
3) rearranging living room & entryway to feel warmer & more inviting-great suggestions that fit my lifestyle with 3 kids & pets, but still look (almost) like a magazine! Best of all, it has become one of our favorite family gathering spots after it's makeover!
4) the largest and longest of the jobs was cleaning and organizing my lower level-office, basement, storage room & game room. We had so much stuff! I was embarrassed to even let Cindi in to see our colossal mess. She said she had seen much worse and went right to work with a plan & strategy for purging, donating, saving. I couldn't believe the amount we got done in a relatively short time! Once again, she made the spaces much more livable, functional & organized! Thank you Cindi!

My bathroom was dated back in the ’70s and just begging for a complete renovation. I had a vision of exactly what I wanted my bathroom suite to look like, it was an accumulation of different designs and fixtures that only the most talented would have been able to bring to fruition.
Step Handiman did not disappoint, they took my wish list of bathroom design ideas and made them come to life. Essentially, they gutted the bathroom and started from scratch, creating an ample palette for creativity. Without hesitation, they installed a luxury steam shower spa complete with a heated shower bench and multiple rainfall showerheads. A girl’s dream bathroom will always include a walk-in closet and a dressing room, my dream has finally come true with the help of Step Handiman. We wanted two patios, a small one along one side of our house, and a larger one for the backyard. They also created a beautiful terraced winding stone path though the garden on the other side of the house. After a thorough discussion, Joe followed up with a creative design and executed it with superb workmanship, displaying the skills of a true artisan. Our Irregular Perennial Garden Patios, constructed of bluestone and assorted stones are an aesthetic delight.
When the very deep snow of this past winter melted and our new patios were exposed, we were thrilled. Every inch of the patios and the graded walk was in perfect shape. We are so pleased with the results and enjoy being out on the patios virtually every day, especially after the long winter.”
