“I own a 1799 National Landmark adobe building and renovated the interior of one of my two storefronts. Over the years, various owners had plastered and patched the adobe with cement plaster which is bad for the adobe bricks. JG Plastering did a great job of removing all the old plaster and then replastering with the correct Lime Plaster. I really appreciated the care this company took in respecting the historic fabric of my building. It was a small job requiring a lot of care, so I am particularly grateful that JG Plastering was willing to take it on amidst all their larger jobs. As I do further work on the adobe, I would have no hesitation in hiring them for the work.”

Then, after he started the project, he realized that there was going to be more work required… and we could see that he was absolutely right. We trusted him to go ahead and do the job properly, and in the end, only one day was added (in the pouring rain, no less!). The revised bill (again, detailing the new materials and labor) was completely reasonable.

“My husband and I recently purchased a newly-built single-family home and chose California Closets (Los Gatos) for designing & installing closet systems throughout the home. They promptly responded to my initial inquiry to schedule the complimentary design consultation. Working with the designer Roberta Lasecke was a truly pleasant experience. During the initial consultation, she met us at the new (and still empty) home, where she carefully listened to all our requirements, provided her expert designer input and took measurements. She even took the extra time & trouble to visit our nearby rental apartment to gather more precise info on our storage needs! There was a hallway linen closet with builder-installed shelves, which she recommended we use as is - an opinion exactly in line with our train of thought for this closet; this proved to us that she was in it not for only the sale but also for what would be in the best interest of the client and provide the client with the best value for the money. Her patience in working with us to come up with a design and material selection that best suited our needs was truly remarkable! The installers arrived on time, were most courteous, worked diligently and did a great job while leaving no trash/residues behind. Overall, very professional and top-of-the-line service.
