“We were extremely pleased with Joana's service. Her knowledge, creativity, and most of all patience was hugely helpful as we planned and designed our home addition/remodeling project. Joana was able to provide her help from the conceptualization of our project through to the negotiation with our contractors which was invaluable given our inexperience with this type of project. Her assistance and persistence in liaising with the contractors alone was worth every penny! It was a pleasure to work with Joana, even our 3 year old looked forward to her visits to talk through her ideas, the plans. I would say that Joana's biggest strengths are her professionalism, detail oriented nature, patience, and creativity. “Working with Jimmy Crisp and his associates was a great and valuable learning experience that could not have turned out better than it did. Jimmy truly met, and in many instances, went beyond our expectations. The project, which was a complete gut renovation, went very smoothly and it did come in on budget with the exception of new items that were included after our original quote. Of course there were differences of opinions and long discussions about changes/desired outcomes and new costs, however, I would say that because of Jimmy's constant presence at the site, complete knowledge of exactly what was suppose to happen at all stages of the project and calm manner we escaped situations that could, at the time, have been less satisfactory. Jimmy, the associates and clerical employees of his firm are all a 10 in my book! My experience with Crisp Architects makes me believe that anyone seeking a great architect, backed by a most professional staff, could not do better than to choose Crisp Architects.”

“GRD is David Potter. David is a joy to work with. He is responsive, pragmatic, and incredibly commercial, meaning he is not an "in the clouds" designer but able to tackle a design undertaking thinking through all the way through to fabrication. He is at home in the building material resources as he is in Conceptual Design or actual CAD work where he excels. Full package; Design, CD's, and construction monitoring. Having a very expensive, conceptual design experience prior to working with David, his pragmatic approach was an oasis we desperately needed. The best part of working with David is he offers ideas with no regret or client guilt trip when the client decides to pursue a different tack. He realizes the client has the ultimate call. David brought the same energy and responsiveness to add-on projects as he did to the original 5000 sf house project.”

“We had a great experience with MAAD to design an addition to our house. They met with us several times, presented several designs, and refined them on discussion with us. Very helpful in selecting materials, including some very innovative alternatives to traditional choices. They presented us with 3D renderings including data so we could visualize the design at different times of the day, which was important for this job. They produced detailed technical drawings that gave us the permits very quickly. They met all the timelines, and kept on budget. Overall, a really outstanding experience and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.”
