I found this architect to be highly knowledgeable and he takes whatever time is needed to explain things to me, the client. He never rushed me and that meant I always had time to ask as many questions as needed. He is reliable and trustworthy. He has not only helped me but also 2 other friends of mine who were needing the same work done as me. “Peter designed a new kitchen extension on our Victorian House in Dublin 8 in 2016. We found Peter to be an excellent listener to our needs as we had a tight budget. The design that Peter came up was fantastic as it gave us so much light, a bigger back yard, along with making the house feel more complete. Peter did the full set of drawings for the builder and did several site visits and made any mods that we needed as the build went on. We are a family with 3 kids and the difference the extension has made to how the house looks and feels is astonishing. I would highly recommend Peter to anyone who is considering work to their house. Thank you Peter.”

“People say that building a house is one of the most stressful things you can do and they were not wrong. We 'survived' our house build and now we can safely say that Emmett and Fingal Planning consultants was one of the very few people that gave us consistent and sound advice/service. Our build was very complicated due to many factors, but chiefly the type of the house, a low-energy "passive house"-style, the location and having several contractors involved posed the greatest challenges. Emmett guided us through the process in his trademark no-nonsense approach and we were very lucky to have him when trying to manage all the stakeholders that a build inevitably has, like authorities, contractors, neighbours and so on. During the rough patches of the project, he always stuck by his word and actually did more than he originally signed up for. When Emmett says he will do something he does it; he is open, honest, and little ruffles his feathers - a much needed attribute when emotions are high and money is low!
