“My wife and I bought 5 acres of land in order to build our dream house. We interviewed several Architects before selecting Daniel, and we are very happy we chose him. We wanted something different from the typical suburban production house that we had in Circle C Ranch. The design process with Daniel was fun and exciting as we figured out the how to best fit our home to the sloping land. We designed a home that specifically met our site and design goals. Daniel is very creative, really thinks out of the box, but is also conscious of figuring out the most cost efficient way to get what he is looking for and still maintain the integrity of the design. He was very receptive to our ideas and had positive input and information to help us design an addition to our home. It was a complicated design equation because we had to incorporate ADA livability. His lateral thinking made our ideas for these challenges even better. Can't thank him enough for his professionalism and friendly disposition. He was also very accommodating to our difficult schedules for meetings. Can't recommend him highly enough!”

“When my husband and I took on a major remodel of our mid century home we interviewed several architects. It was clear from the beginning Jim was the right choice. He asked detailed questions about our lifestyle and our aesthetic preferences, listened carefully and took every detail into account when designing our dream home. The result was an artistic, well functioning design that appeared twice as large without changing the original footprint of the house. Jim was very cost conscious and researched every aspect to help keep us within budget. He worked with the contractor throughout the project making sure the plans were precisely implemented and came up with creative solutions for any unexpected challenges. I could go on with more praises for Jim but probably the best recommendation would be to say without any question we would use him again.”

“Simon was great to work with! After showing him my vision for the project, he worked quickly to produce a series of high fidelity renderings of the design, took feedback from the contractor and myself before finalizing the design. This process was quick, professional, and produced a great result. However, the best part was his offer to work the project through the city permitting process for a flat fee. He created the appropriate drawings, got quotes from several engineers and surveyors to develop the required documents, and coordinated all communication with the city. This went as well as any permitting process ever does, and I didn't have to worry about it at all. Highly recommended!”

“We had a wonderful home building experience and were so thankful that we used Todd. We only interviewed one other builder, but there was something about Todd and what he said that made us decide to choose him. We were 1st time builders and didn't even check his references or know the right questions to ask before we decided on him. It wasn't until the building process when we saw our home coming together that we started to fully appreciate all the aesthetic skill Todd had to offer. We would ask how this or that would be, and he would sometimes use the phrase "let's see what the house calls for when we get to that point". We began to realize how special and unique that flexibility and sensitivity in a builder really was. Our home is stunning and if we ever decide to build again, we wouldn't consider using anyone else. From the beginning Ken strived to pinpoint what style and function we were trying to achieve by visiting existing homes with us and by reviewing dozens of photos that I sent to him. Once our budget was established, Ken worked diligently to incorporate as many of our requests as possible into our plan, sometimes achieving what started out to seem impossible. After we signed off on our plans, Ken continued to visit our building site in order to ensure that the home was being built to the proper specifications. He was an important ally for me throughout the process. Venture Four Architects has a unique process of the entire team reviewing each architects plans so as to provide the client with the most knowledge and experience available at the firm. This seemed an added bonus for us. We highly recommend Ken Smith and Venture Four Architects.”
