It was the first time I had embarked on a renovation project and William Scholtens and his team were incredibly reliable, walking me through every step of the project, illustrating a range of options, and responding with intuitive precision to the demands of our vision. “US BES was top notch from start to finish. Very professional and detailed proposal followed up by full explanation of the special circumstances of our project. Work dates and times were clearly communicated and adhered to which made our lives much easier as we were managing a full time family during the project. Site was cleaned every day with no materials or garbage left behind and everything was completed on time and on budget. Furthermore, the owner of the Company was on site full time while all the work was being completed, it was not subcontracted out to someone else to complete the project. “We have a small house in Riverside. It is about 1,000 sf. It is a split level modern house built in the 1950's. We wanted an open plan concept with a cathedral ceiling. We removed wall to new ceiling, creating an upstairs loft. The project was completed in 2001.We have lived in it for 11 years! We love the plan and the cathedral ceiling 16' high. Our room is now open 20'x24', with new skylights above the living room. Arlene was a terrific help. We got our plans on time during the design phase, and got our permits without any new work or any changes to our design. We have enjoyed our redesigned home for the past 11 years and would definitely recommend Arlene to our friends! ”

“Rich designed a completely new roof rafter & ceiling system to replace our leaking and waterlogged one. Right before drywalling, the Village inspector decided they needed complete floor plans for the house because we had to replace more things than we had originally planned. Rich very professionally came in to measure the house and had the permit drawings back to me in only four working days so that the project could proceed. I would highly recommend Richlind to anyone needing architectural services. I will use him in the future as well.”
