“Kristin designed the remodel for my home in Encinitas. In a matter of a few hours she overcame design problems we had been struggling with for months, then went on to polish the design into a stand-out plan that has been a joy to live in. This was a complete home remodel. We expanded the master bath, added a new bath, moved and expanded the kitchen, expanded the living room, and added a studio. The end result took advantage of our 180-degree view (which the original design didn't) and cost far less than selling and moving into a comparable property with a similar view, if we had been able to find one.”

The first was a roof deck over a new accessory room which integrates so seamlessly with the rest of the house that it looks like it was part of the original house. The second was a gorgeous standalone building in the backyard which is a combination cottage, outside potting shed and chicken coop, all under one roof and designed to optimize the use of our natural breeze. Now he's working on an internal remodel that will include a new kitchen and convert an outdoor patio into an atrium with a loft. We can't praise John enough. His designs are innovative and reflect our tastes. And he's a joy to work with.”
